There are actually some (not just on DS) who think that way. I remember one poster in the Coronavirus thread proudly proclaiming that she hadn't brought any non-essential items in the shops since early last year, which is way OTT.

carl.waring is terrible for multi-quotes. I remember having many arguments with him over the gadget show years ago and he would literally take a two or three sentence post and break it down into at least half a dozen quotes. He's one of the few people I won't ever respond to on DS.there was someone called Kwynne on the ED thread , who would pour over every single comment and answer them all the next day, usually after watching the episode so he could then say to people "no you are wrong" i think he thought he was being clever, but he wouldnt use multi-quotes , he would answer them all individually, so the next day you got pages of waffleusually acerbic with no sense of humour
I remember him being a nightmare when DS allowed comments on news articles (if you can call them that) on their front page. The guy was obsessive when it came to piracy issues, he was even given the opportunity to create his own article on the subject. He's a titanic bore.

thats the thing , he is allowed a vile opinion because he is self righteous, he must have spent every day of this calendar year indoors and spoke to know one to have opinions like that , if he has stepped one foot outside then going by his own twisted logic he is just as bad and just as likely to pass on the virus.

Can't remember the name, but there was one user who had had a pretty solid posting history. When the story broke about the bloke knocking this girl out outside a nightclub some years back, he posted in the thread how glad he was that she'd been "put in her place" and how she deserved it for "sticking her nose in".
Remember when DS had blogs? There was a guy, whose name escapes me now, who wrote a blog post about how he hated women so much, that whenever he heard about a grape on the news he would think "good on the rapist".

I've heard a lot of guesses. Some were convinced she was Georgina1992 (I think that was the username) and also that Lucien chap. I've mentioned StolenGoodPlaceJanet as a possible past username of hers.
