He was quite the nuisance to women, sending private messages, etc.
I remember the name, but never had any direct contact with him. He was another one with an absolutely huge post count.
Who was the Irish DS member who really hated the English ?
Didn't they eventually hide post counts because some people got obsessed with them?

I did really enjoy the food threads on there, sharing pics, recipes, reviews and tips. There were/are some really nice, and helpful posters there and generally across the board. Ultimately it was the site owner’s stinking attitude and his enablement of stinking attitudes from some of the other members that made me decide “enough’s enough”.
I have a feeling that dude barely leaves his house and also has no social contact with anyone in real life, no friends, never had a partner, has never travelled, etc.
When he describes something as “in my experience…”, what he actually means is: “I saw a tv documentary that said…”
I actually had this conversation with him. I can’t remember exactly what it was about, but he said “in my experience, Americans are like this/that/act like [xyz]”. I asked him something like “who in the US? whereabouts in the US? When? Cos my experience [not that I’m an expert, but I’m an overseas US Resident, married to an American citizen, have American family and friends, and have been to the US, many times over the last ten years, and to several different states], my encounters have been very different to yours”. Or words to that effect.
He got pissy and, just as I thought, he made it obvious that he’s never been to the US and doesn’t know any Americans, but still really believes his “experience” is valid cos he saw/read it on a screen.
He’s a plonker. A typical know-it-all that knows absolutely nothing!
Someone asked about DS poster Anne666 I asked a friend from DS she is well but doesn’t do social media just thought I would let those asking know.
Gortonian was a popular poster on the tv and radio threads and often quite knowledgeable. After a short absence and one not long enough to be anything out of the ordinary, his sister came on to inform us that he had passed away suddenly. He was in his early sixties. This was about six years ago.
On the House of Games thread once, someone called Richard "speccy", and these two posters completely laid into them because of it, it was very over the top.

I sometimes wonder whether Ulysses31 is still on DS. He'd been banned loads of times, but kept coming back with new IDs and new personas. One of them was "Crossbones", a body builder with dwarfism.

Pumping Iron - Was half white British/Chinese and had some interesting stories to tell. I think he ever wound anybody up or got into trouble. He was banned when he simply suggested to another member that discussing Trans related stuff will rile some people up.
Soma - A Muslim who started the 'Viking Muslims' thread amongst others. Would get very snotty if she thought you were calling out anything about Islam. Was'nt banned, but just stopped posting.
UlsterGuy - A hardcore Sectarian Protestant from Belfast. Said some horrible stuff about Women and Homosexuals. Was found to be bullying another Irish user.

Does anyone remember Frazer Young? He was in his 40s I think, and lived with his elderly mum, he used to always post about going shopping in Asda with her. He used to get mocked a lot by other posters... I remember someone calling him "Digital Spy's very own Norman Bates".
There was Grand Dizzy, who was very opinionated but really showed his true colours in a thread about catcalling. He confessed to seeing "unattractive" women in the street, riding up slowly behind them on his bike and whistling, but "quietly" apparently. He argued that he was trying to boost their self-confidence or something, and got really angry with the majority who told him he was a creep.
