I think Tanya needs a time out, she's been going full manic mode on the thread about Ann Widdecombe. Drinks with Neil and Christine Hamilton apparently and calling other posters sub illiterate and a fair bit of rage baiting along the way, but as usual she seems to get away with it and her posts have been removed.

Oh my, there is no way I'm going to subject myself to Tanya's thoughts on Ann Widdecombe, her regular posts about the most benign matters are bad enough.

"She" did an initial "glad to hear she is dead" post, followed by, once the news unfolded, took the moral high ground. "How dare you say that!", followed by some of her most awful posts. Someone didn't agree with her she posted "Do you want a fight? I don't suffer sub illiterate fools gladly" and the worst was someone who posts about her family, mentioned that her Grand mother is the same age as Ann Widdecombe. Tanya replied a horrible comment. "Imagine knowing someone who is 78, never mind related to one. Who would have thought it!" Nasty, nasty awful poster. Why are they not banned.
That sounds like the nastiest they've ever been.
The unconditional protection they have to run riot all over the board and any unsavoury mess is happily cleaned up by the mods is not something I've ever seen on any online platform in 20+ years.
I'm giving DS a wide berth in terms of the AW stuff. It's bad enough everywhere else but DS is a special brand of vile. I'd say it's a good thing their politics forum shut but all that's changed is the ones who posted there like it was their own personal playground turning the broadcasting forum into another version of it.
No that cross means her account is set to private if you read the text when you click her name. Even if she was banned you wouldn’t be able to tell because of the privacy settings

I've always thought that. At the very least, she/he is a complete fantasist and a very nasty one at that.
It's funny that Tattle gets hammered in the media but DS never gets a mention. There are/have been some seriously nasty, vile people on there.
I joined there about 2012 ish and had a lot of fun for many years but it changed quite drastically. The moderation is awful and very odd. I stayed well clear of the politics forum as that was just a cesspit (and I enjoy a good political debate) but when that closed the mentalists and bullies on there moved to other threads.
I think a lot went on via DM's to target various posters and get them banned.
I was disappointed when I saw you could not access Tanya's profile, because I wanted to see when she started with her bull.
My first encounter with her was in a showbiz thread and she had a meltdown trying to defend Michael Barrymore. I remember reading "her" posts in sheer bewilderment, all my years online and I'd never seen anyone act quite like that before and have it be sanctioned by mods.

And it is (or at least was) a much bigger forum than Tattle has ever been.
She has been banned on odd occasions but always gets back in.
Can I ask why anyone is posting about her on here, it’s only giving her the attention she obviously craves.
If only DS had the feature Facebook has, viz if you block someone they disappear from your sight forever.
I think we're just trying to figure it all out. I'm on the side that she has to be a moderator's other account. Psychologically people like "her" fascinating me. I can't imagine living life that way.
I was bored one day and counted Tanya’s post (this was when they were still new, maybe about 3 or 4 months into their account but absolutely making a name for themselves by their posting style).
I don’t know if DS still does this but at the time they counted private reports to mods as posts so say for example if you had created 10 threads but also reported posts to the mods 5 times your created threads would show as 15 even though you’d only actually made 10.
In Tanya’s infancy the account had triple the thread count than the amount of threads they actually created. Why someone apparently so new would feel so aggrieved and abrasive to report so many users from the start is a mystery to me..
Why the mods allow it is a bigger one

There's a new thread on the Soaps forum about somebody sneaking onto the Eastenders set. I thought it was Monalisa back with a grudge.
There was a female DS member who really hated the Police. I can't remember her name, but she had a drawn illustration of herself as her profile pic.
She was posting yesterday, so isn't banned.

Anyone who feels like giving up on DS permanently, should do so by telling Tanya a few home truths in public...

That thread in Broadcasting about the BBC's begging advert... they are all either previous or former employees, I would bet my house on it. You don't get that a-licky over something like that if you are just Joe or Jane Public.
