This might be a situation more related to buying and selling but wanted to ask here because people seem very knowledgable! I recently sold a designer bag on eBay, it was rejected by the eBay authenticator. I’m outraged because I have the receipts from Selfridges and on a side note I have doubts about how reputable the authenticator eBay uses is. So the buyer wants to purchase outside of eBay, I think she really likes the bag. So my question is, do you know if there are risks to me as a seller if I have the money before posting the bag?

Either ask for a bank transfer or Paypal friends and family only.
I would make a video of the bag and send to seller so they are 100% sure they’ll be happy with the bag. And make sure you video any “flaws”
Further I would make copies of the Selfridge receipt and send the buyer the originals.
Now if there is an issue you can say tough shit.

Yesss!!! Even since I started following the brand, prices have increased significantly. I love Falabella’s but have bought all of mine second hand from the Vestiaire Collective app. They are not rare or highly sought after so you can get a good bargain.
I am trying to curb my Falabella purchases for now because I don’t really see them as ‘re-sellable’ or I know I will at least lose money of them. I have a few now I will happily use to death and never sell but I think that’s enough haha. Time to expand my collection into other brands.

I’ve had a pair of boots in my bag since last weekend and I went to buy them today and they have now sold out on net a porter. Ffs.
They have them on coggles, but the last time I bought boots from there, they didn’t even come in the brand’s shoe box or even any dustbags. I’m a weirdo who likes to keep all their shoes in their boxes. Can anyone tell me if they bought shoes from coggles and they have come in the proper packaging?

Yes I bought a pair of YSL Lou Lous on there a few years back. Much much cheaper than elsewhere and all good.
