It's been a long time since I caught up with this case. What happened with the pweirdo who was snapchatting with one of the girls and said he'd sold the account on for other pweirdos to use? Have they linked him and RA or did Abbey/Libby get targeted by two predators coincidentally?
Keegan is in prison for the next few decades. But I’ve never ruled him out in my mind along with Ron Logan or any of the others really. Ron Logan has always stood out to me. They were found on his property, giving him all night with them possibly. But he’s passed away now

Oh of course, I think here where I would say RA is “unique” for his height as a smaller man, it would of been interesting to ask the witnesses, of course not concrete evidence but a good indication in their opinion on what they saw that day.
bridge guy didnt look that small to me, but understand perspective can be a funny thing.

There's a lot to be said for being in court as a juror Vs reading the reporting and that can have a huge impact. As a juror you see people's facial expressions, their body language, hear the emotions in their voice. In your court bundle you see information that observers in court do not. That counts for a lot. It can give the jury a very different impression to that of an outsider.
I don't disagree with this and this is why I think cameras should be in courtrooms. Look at Depp v Heard the mainstream media said Jason Mamoa was a witness (he wasn't!!)

It’s going to be so interesting hearing what evidence they have as they have been so tight lipped throughout.
Hope for family’s sake they have the right guy.
Considering he’s admitted it about 60 times and the bullet found with the bodies had gone through his gun, I’m pretty sure they have the right guy.

So they are allowing the Confessions to be heard in trial now, I can see him changing his plea before trail now.
But maybe only if he gets a plea deal taking death sentence off the table, if prosecution agree to it?

Confessions are in but odinism and their defence is not.
They clearly did not make a very convincing argument that some other dude did it.

I think the trial will be delayed again now!

If he undressed?
The new documents stated that Libby was found undressed and Abby was wearing Libby clothes…
I think it’s the gun that’s significant find in the house, unless he kept something as a sick trophy ?
Not sure when the next court date will be to see if anything gets thrown out.
still can’t believe if it’s him how close he stayed and worked in the town and nobody had any suspicions

When he was finally arrested they told him any damage to the house would be sorted during the search but Allen replied “It doesn’t matter, it’s over,”
If your innocent that’s a strange thing to say, it wasn’t recorded however.
And they may not be able to trust the recollection of the police officer unfortunately.

Haven’t heard anything relating to them being positioned in a sacrificial way with branches and leaves etc, something about it being a cult killing was released a year or so ago but nothing so far in the trial (unless I’ve missed it)
The prosecution haven't found any link between Richard Allen and Odinism, and I think the defense have been banned from mentioning it. (Personally, I suspect the ritualistic stuff was the killer trying to throw people off the scent and not a genuine lead anyway).

My interpretation was that he had already ordered them where to go when the video starts and was following them to the location. She was trying to give clues in where that location was in her filming and what she was saying.
I agree, just watched it there. How terrifying for those poor little girls 😭

So am I understanding this right that the judge basically set an unrealistic goal for the defence team and is now blaming them?
Seems so. Everyone has a right to a fair trial. In it sounds like the judge is trying to actively prevent the defence presenting all of their theories. Which is shifty. I could understand if it was the prosecution doing that, but not the judge.

Im on hour 3! He's 100% guilty
I think the opposite I think the videos make him look even more guilty he's so over explaining everything how would you remember these random days from 5 years ago and all that detail.
yes that's a good point! it's more so the police video after his arrest i think, he seems very agitated & defeated but stays firm on his innocence (again, i think he is 100% guilty no doubt but thought it was curious how he doesn't seem to give up easily!)

i also felt like he's very clearly leading/manipulating kathy in the interview room. i wonder what made her change her mind to thinking he's innocent (although she's probably just in denial)

Yeah that’s really damning, but so weird that it was even there. Maybe he had his gun with him to make them comply and it fell out? But yeah what I don’t understand is he lived there, it’s a small place and no one recognised him from the video or voice recording? It’s so bizarre.

Then, why position the bodies as he did if he has no links to any cults etc. Looks like that’s the main defence (and I think there was something about the girls new a boy with Odinist links) but the prosecution want that thrown out.

It’s a few months since I listened to the podcasts, might need to listen again before the trial to refresh the memory.

I thought this. He'll have said a lot more than "down the hill" to make them video it, although I understand that the poor girls started videoing because he was walking back towards them.
One of them also said "Gun", didn't they?
