I don't really have a picture of my dad. I have one of the family in the 80s that he is in, but because it's a busy picture, it's not the same as one of him up close.

There used to be pictures of me and him when I was little, but my mum has never co operated with me since he died and she inherited the contents of his house. She never gives me any mementos. They were divorced, but it's complicated and she clearly feels like she deserves every memento of him more than me and sister do.

my dads parents passed away a long time ago & there was never a photo of them together. my dad had a photo of his mum and dad separately and had them edited together to look like one picture that was taken of them together but you could tell it wasn’t ..

so for father’s day a few years ago I had an artist draw the image to make it look like they’re actually together on a3, and now we have it on a canvas in our living room and it honestly looks like a photo they were in together 🤍
