By all accounts he’s just as bad. Seeing a couple of posts on the Reddit saying Matt Lucas also has inappropriate relationships with teenage boys and young men. One man was sexually assaulted by him, reported him and nothing happened and after he made a TikTok about it he said 25 other men wrote to him saying the same thing and he said the police weren’t interested in making reports of his evidence or anything. He warned parents not to let their teenage sons near ML for their safety.
I can’t image ML ever coming forward about DW - unless something extra extra sinister which implicates him in some way.

Things like that are often closer to the truth than the writers would have you believe, I suspect.

No authoritative news report that he's been charged or any court case pending though. Also court refused to give Lucas a gag order against 'Mr Quooss at an emergency High Court hearing 3 weeks before the arrest'. Still seems a bit fishy to me for now.
That guy accusing Matt Lucas was not mentally well. It might be true but equally I wouldn’t take it as gospel.
I’ll never understand the kids book route. The author means nothing to the kid so it’s aimed at the parent liking the “author” is that it? Although in DW case it seems the kids liked the books. My nephew loved them and has them all. Earned DW mega-bucks.
In fairness there is a real problem, particularly in boys, to get them to engage and enjoy reading so good children's books are needed desperately. That being said I personally would never buy one of his books. My niece used to love his books and it took all my willpower not to say anything about DW.
not condoning anything ML may have done, but that young man seemed quite unstable and the “evidence” of his voicemails was nothing incriminating that I could hear, many others said the same.
