Staff told to work in pairs and not be alone with him? Isn't that the same way Channel 4 handled rapist Brand? I'm delighted he's been dropped but the time to act was when these allegations came out.
I swear every time there is a report about a male celebrity being inappropriate the women working with him are always given the advice to ‘work in pairs’ and ‘not be alone with him’. Maybe just drop the male celebrity as a client and don’t force these innocent women to work with them?! Argh!!!

My friend used to date him. Put it this way- he’s got a lot to give in the trouser department.

Is there a thread about him already? I couldn't find one. Anyway, am I the only person to whom he gives the absolute and utter creeps? My other half was watching BGT one night and I was literally backing into the sofa to try and 'get away' from him. I actually had to leave the room. There's just something malevolent about him.

From the DM ‘The children's author has published more than 40 works’ - his first children’s book was published in 2008. How on earth has he managed to keep up standards and publish 40 in an 18 year period? He must be pumping out 2-3 books a year? Roald Dahl only published around 20 children’s books in about 46 years!
Hes a Temu Roald Dahl at best. His books using the same style of illustrations is a conscious decision to rip off his image

One thing that really annoys me is not only has David Walliams always used outdated gay stereotypes for cheap laughs and to mould his 'nice guy' image to lure people in, but by doing what hes done he ends up reinforcing the homophobic opinion of gay men being predators and pervs. Not only with men in his stage shows (e.g. Hunt the sausage routine) but also against women who would usually feel safer around gay men.

His legal team have been silencing journos for YEARS about his predatory behaviour around teen girls. There must be something big about to go down - arrest worthy, thaf they cannot control ,..

Makes me sick. Twice it mentions JUNIOR employees bring targeted and kept away from him.

These men KNOW EXACTLY what they're doing. They never pester their female bosses or women above them, it's the junior employees for a reason.

I once had to read a few of his kids books against my will. I thought they were horrible. Not in a fun The Twits kind of way, but in a way that I thought children should not be encouraged to think.

Like Gangster Granny begins with the lad not liking his granny because she's boring and old fashioned. ...You mean, she's an old lady? Who doesn't like their granny because she's an old lady?

So she starts doing her gangsta act to impress her grandson, because she's sad he doesn't like her. I guess I'm being too literal here, but it made me think of all the old grandparents who would read or watch this story with their grandkids, and worry their grandkids felt like this about them. Most people would like to be more "fun" and "cool" for their grandkids, but being elderly limits your energy and your physical capabilities. They can't just suddenly start being cool.

I know, I'm reading too much into it, but I thought it was bizarrely mean spirited.

Then there was one where a teacher was nicknamed Mrs Fuzziwuzzi or something "because of her frizzy hair" - she was black!! Wtf!!

When the news about Jimmy Savile and the full horrors of his crimes was revealed, there were so many poeple saying how they always knew he was a vile creep, which was news to me as I'd never heard anyone talk negatively about him and had personally never gotten those vibes as his "hiding in plain sight" act had completely fooled me.

With David Walliams? The first time I really took note of him was when he was made a BGT judge and from the word go I had a really visceral reaction to him and could no longer watch the show! My God, he seriously creeped me out, I couldn't begin to understand his appeal at all and in particular his whole "pretending to be gay but am i reallly pretending" routine was beyond bizarre to me. Couldn't understand how he was so beloved and when he did that swim in the Thames and you couldn't say a word against him for quite a while? I just didn't get it.

I feel vidicated today and it must be how the people who always saw through Savile felt back then, I understand where they were coming from more now. Very few people have ever given me that CREEP! Stay away! reaction. Wallaims was one, another is Jared Leto who I firmly refuse to watch in anything and can't understand how he keeps getting cast...

I am just really sorry for what Walliams victims had to go through, especially those who were harassed so much they felt they had to leave their job. I hope he is now ruined, I am sick of these pervs and abusers getting away with it by puttong on a "what? little old me?" facade and it actually working.

When he was on The Wheel the other week he was as unfunny as ever but I hadn't noticed before how bitter he seemed. He was so desperate for the screen time and expected the contestants to be fawning over him. Did this whole 'ha ha pretend sulk' when he got put in red but clearly wasn't pretending. Then when the contestant got the answer wrong he was gloating and kept bringing up later that he got the question right. It was all so awkward and out of step with the tone of the show.

He reminds me so much of Michael Barrymore. So devoid of actual wit, charm or warmth they both turn to pawing over audience members 'for laughs.' They can't hide the inner nastiness.

I’ve noticed a couple of non-stories about him cropping up in the red tops. Call me cynical but lots of times this is a warning shot when they are in a position to publish dirt on someone and are fishing for an “exclusive”. Or sometimes when they can’t publish but they are trying to stir public interest. Watch this space!

He must have pis*ed off someone VERY powerful for this all to be coming out now. Reminds me of Scofield. He's been protected and enabled for 20+ years, why now?
Funnily enough Walliams has the same cold, dead shark eyes that Schofield has. Nothing behind them at all. It’s like they’ve got no soul.

I don’t mind him but I find the camp act a bit offputting. He plays it up so much that people think he is gay, and it’s very much played for laughs that he acts camp and that doesn’t really sit right with me. To me it feeds into the narrative of alienating gay people by making them an object to laugh at. Like, young men today see that and think oh if you act like that you can be laughed at? This probably makes me sound really snowflake-y, I’m not explaining it as well as I could. 😅 it just doesn’t gel and it’s so tiring to me personally.

I’m sure I read, and this is total unfounded gossip, that he was/is a right sleaze who as @Mustard says prefers much younger women!

His books sold well and made him an asset.
He employed expensive lawyers due to his wealth who had the clout to shut down rumours and allegations.
He did all those channel swims for charity.
He loves his mum.

Another Talent who operated in plain sight and considered himself untouchable.
The biggest issue for me is that time and time again it's "the system" that allows these abusers to carry on for years and in some cases even protects them (Epstein as the biggest case in point), the entertainment industry as a whole is full of abusers - music, film, tv, publishing - they're fucking everywhere and even in 2026, in some cases, are deemed important enough to continue covering up their crimes.

How many times have we heard women being told to stay away from certain "stars" or make sure you are never alone with them?
WTF?
Same as we've always been told to be careful of how we dress or behave around certain men.
How about the same effort being put into telling the actual abusers to stop, that their behaviour is unacceptable and that they cannot continue behaving in this way
