So, apparently this week just gone the Guardian were about to drop a big story that they’ve been sitting on for a while. Walliams and his lawyers managed to get it blocked, but the following day he was dropped by his publishers anyway. Something big is about to come out about him IMO.

He must have pis*ed off someone VERY powerful for this all to be coming out now. Reminds me of Scofield. He's been protected and enabled for 20+ years, why now?

I really hate his camp pretend to be gay act, it’s offensive how much he plays up the act when he is actually completely straight. He plays offensive gay stereotypes and it just isn’t entertaining, it’s embarrassing.

Finally! Been waiting for this day for years! Awful cunt.
It'll be the beginning of an avalanche. It just takes one report becoming public, then more people will feel like they can speak out. He'll be cancelled by new year...

He's a clout chaser, he's always dropping hints about "high profile investigations".

He doesn't behave like a professional ex-officer should, and he's given far too much credit for Savile.
Can we just take a moment to recall Williams-Thomas making the search for Nicola Bulley all about himself, too?

Very difficult for 'ordinary' people to speak out, in those situations, imo. I bet loads complained about Greggggggggg Wallace or Barrowman, for example, but weren't heeded, or were expected to think their carry on was funny. [shudder]
Also, if you think about it in normal companies/organisations its just the same. No famous people, but its still very hard to speak out about anyone in power. HR teams are there for the company rather than the staff. You also have to laugh off stuff for fear of being seen as a troublemaker or just being spoilsport

There is a whole twitter thread of underage girls that he tried to get in his BGT dressing room, as well as private DM’s he’s sent 14 year olds. Journos at the sun and Guardian have been trying to expose him from as far back as 2019 / lockdown era. Girl are paid off / silenced and the papers shut down by legal. As I said this has got to be BIG for his legal team vultures not to be able to shut down.

I often think about how Lara Stone must feel sharing a child with him.
I remember reading an interview with him years ago while he was engaged to Lara. He was asked about the wedding and he mentioned that it would be a dry bar because she's an alcoholic. I thought it was such a dick thing to say and completely unnecessary to mention her addiction. I always thought they were an odd match and that he was more interested in being able to brag about dating a model than actually caring about her.

I'm not surprised. So many of these celebs aren't what they seem on TV. Off screen personas are totally different. It's all an act. People need to realise this before they idolise these people.

So I wonder what has changed? Why are the stories about him, now being made public?
Hes spent millions on lawyers blocking the stories, paying people off ect . Perhaps he’s running out of cash, someone’s broke an NDA or there’s just too many people to silence now? Or maybe something big is about to break he can’t run from any more. Massive respect to the journos that have never given up trying to expose him.

I don’t get how women are interested in him. His comedy isn’t funny and it’s quite dated. He isn’t a looker (sorry) and he doesn’t have a sparkling personality. Him and Lara Stone are the most confusing couple to me and the fact they’ve had a child and presumably had sex just baffles me.

Just saw the headline online. Many on here suspected he was a wrong’un for a long time, finally the truth is coming out about his behaviour at last. Yet another who got away with it for far too long though.

I do agree but find it odd Lucas tried to gag him? (In the press!)

Re Williams-Thomas theres something about him I simply don't trust, ex copper, he seemed to deny that the police didn't cover for Savile at any point, which I don't believe.

My husband just started reading one of his older children’s books to my twins. If I’d checked it out before I started I wouldn’t have let him read it coz they are nasty. Last time they’ll read one.
Funnily enough, it was his books that made me take a closer look at him and find him to be creepy as hell. It was the barely disguised disdain for poor people. As I was reading it with my son (who was totally oblivious) I could tell he was trying to emulate the kids vs adults theme common in Roald Dahl’s books. Needless to say, he missed the mark and just came across as hateful. I know there are things about Dahl that people find problematic (eg The Witches could be considered highly misogynistic) but there’s no denying he was a good author with some morality to the stories.
