My Dad watches them both, and always says the same.
How much content can you possibly make from going around trying to find the best value for money fry-ups. I mean, first of all, who’s going to Thailand and their first thought is ‘I wonder where I can get a cheap but tasty plate of sausage eggs and beans’
And then when he finishes the videos with his usual ‘don’t forget to tell your friends/family/colleagues’. I’m sure my friend down the road or my colleague at work will be most intrigued how the beans on toast taste in Thailand.
And as mentioned, it’s his tone/personality. The only time he cracks a smile is if somewhere has decent ‘bubble’ or fried bread

Last of all on Darren, he really needs to learn how to hold a knife and fork properly if he wants people to sit and watch him do the same rit every day.

At least that Geoff seems happy and upbeat, and seems to be enjoying himself. And he has a bit of life in his videos, and some positivity.

His content has been dreadful lately.

People have been giving him constructive criticism and feedback but he just dismisses it in his typical arrogant snide fashion.

The Time For A Change video sums his channel up. Dreadful lighting a background with a calendar and post it notes everywhere. The video was poorly framed with far too much headroom. There are no excuses for someone who has had a YouTube channel for a few years. It looks like zero effort has been put into this, as well. He's only got himself to blame and now the reality has started to bite with declining views and revenue. One change he could make is being more honest regarding some of his reviews, if its a paid promotion say so. He also needs to show a bit of humility especially in regard to constructive criticism. Curt replies makes him appear dislikable.

He actually is doing ok with views since he arrived in Thailand. He is averaging almost 28k views per vlog, with 32k subscribers. The struggle for him long term will be to find varied content. I don't dislike or like DJ, I rarely watch him, but I admire him for exposing the MacMaster.
On his main channel, he has added 15% more subscribers since he arrived in Thailand, but as he says, views are dropping. His last 20 vlogs are averaging less than 10,000 views, that's down by almost a third to when he arrived there. He also is averaging just 2 vlogs a week, unlike his mentor at the time the MacMaster, who unfortunately churns them out daily. But as a lot suspected on here, that he eventually could struggle for content.

10,000 views still seems pretty decent I wonder what that’s revenue wise ? Tbh two videos a week just isn’t good enough and he needs to step it up

2 videos at 10k would be £50 - £75 a week. That's why you gotta churn them out daily.

and tbh he could easily do that , even if he just doubled it to 4 a week showcasing his mundane life. Can’t see him lasting much longer over there

Can we all vote for the food eating challenges ? I feel like that would be the most entertaining outcome for all
