He did let slip late on in the vlog that he was trying it for twelve months, probably wise DJ because cheap as it may be to live in Thailand (although you haven’t really demonstrated this) I doubt your meagre YouTube earnings will keep you in the style to which you’re accustomed.
And I’m sure the constant heat will become exhausting and tiresome before long.

That's exactly what it is, it's like he's lost and he's just looking for a purpose in life.

He can be very passive aggressive in the comments. He didn't get the job he was temp, covering, he got laid off. His outgoing's in London are quite high, so he thinks it's meant to be. I think he has some issues, that would make him hard work to deal with.
The heat and the state of his health are not a good mix. As he like to flash the cash (he is broke) there will be no shortage of spongers. The reality of living there full time, could be interesting. No NHS for one.
