I reckon he is looking for an excuse to run back to the UK.
Thai bureaucracy/corruption will be what he blames.
For something as significant as moving to another country his preparation has been at best half arsed.

He left just about everything to sort out when he got to Thailand meaning a) it cost him more and b) it's been done incorrectly.

One wonders if he's done it all on purpose for views?

If you catch the comments, before he goes on a deleting frenzy, it's comedy gold. One guy said he has seen DJ out most night's with his hands full.

I cant grasp why he moved 2 weeks before xmas. Bizzare man with poor decision making.

Surely he’d have kept his flat on one more month and had a traditional xmas? Terrible judgement.
Exactly, if Christmas means that much to him , he could have surely even stayed with some of the family he misses so much for those few weeks.

Just think it’s another idea for a video tbh, he knows he needs to keep churning them out

My Dad watches them both, and always says the same.
How much content can you possibly make from going around trying to find the best value for money fry-ups. I mean, first of all, who’s going to Thailand and their first thought is ‘I wonder where I can get a cheap but tasty plate of sausage eggs and beans’
And then when he finishes the videos with his usual ‘don’t forget to tell your friends/family/colleagues’. I’m sure my friend down the road or my colleague at work will be most intrigued how the beans on toast taste in Thailand.
And as mentioned, it’s his tone/personality. The only time he cracks a smile is if somewhere has decent ‘bubble’ or fried bread

Last of all on Darren, he really needs to learn how to hold a knife and fork properly if he wants people to sit and watch him do the same shite every day.

At least that Geoff seems happy and upbeat, and seems to be enjoying himself. And he has a bit of life in his videos, and some positivity.

Yep. Wall to wall ugly old blokes, with beer bellies, and some Thai ladies. Daz's new friends.

He won't film in the bars, in the ultra seedy street, because they have security, and it could get him in big trouble.

The vlog where he talks about living costs, he looks spaced out. It made no sense. I wonder if he has been caught in the 'buy me a drink' scam and blown his budget.

At least he didn't do his karaoke 'Sweet Caroline'.

Anyone get the 'Off The Charts' crimplene shorts for Crimbo?

Travel all the way to Thailand to tuck into pie, with uncooked raw pastry top, chips & baked beans and some shop bought carrot cake. The eatery is called Robin Hoods. FYI Robin Hood is a well known character from Thai folklore. He was well known for robbing well heeled European sex tourists and distributing the proceeds to the Thai people. Is it me , or does DJ have the same body shape as Friar Tuck.

No expense spared on the FatMaster's new podcast studio. A minging wtf plastic backdrop and a £5 Temu microphone. Very professional.
I'm sure all the dirty old perverts will love telling him their sob stories!

Still trying to hide the 'Off The Charts' gut under the table!!

Seeing him looking longingly at oven chips and frozen haddock in that expat shop and having an orgasm with every mouthful of that full English makes you wonder how homesick he really is? Perhaps he needed the wrapping paper for his member as a gift to his favourite lady boy?

DJ Treats us to a high end outside rooftop restaurant called Pippa and forks out £58 for a 400g steak & a £7 mocktail. Doesn't end up eating in outside rooftop area in the end as it's too hot. Great view though, DJ quips and then hardly shows us the view. The restaurant is mainly empty and there's nothing special looking about the steak. The fries looked as though they were suffering from anaemia apart from the one that had a bad bit on the end. As is fitting with high end restaurant DJ turns up looking as if he's spent the night sleeping in a skip.
£58 for a steak in Thailand ? He really is a sap they have seen coming

I'm in Krabi at the moment and can confirm it's better than our hero made it look. We hired a 300cc scooter for 2 days and saw more in the first morning of having it than what he showed in his vlogs from there on the first holiday. Passed that Mountain View restaurant (the one near the viewpoint he couldn't be bothered going up, when he was standing in front of the big RESTAURANT sign saying I don't know if they do food 🙄) and it's only barely about 10 mins out of town whereas he made it look like he'd been riding miles to find it.

Side note... it's a holy day today in Thailand (12th Feb) and the sale of alcohol is banned everywhere, plus I read that all "entertainment areas" including Pattaya walking street must stay closed today. Wonder what the sexpats will do with themselves tonight....

DJ nods sagely but doesn't really have a clue what this guy's on about

There's 50 versions of the

same thing right but everybody that's

their authentic actually nostalgic I'm

like dude I'll do it that way for you

and then we slowly start to grow a bit

so now for example we have something

quite fun that's actually gotten quite

popular it's called the cheese steak I don't have a photo of it

have it on Facebook the New York chopped

cheese which is actually so simple one

gu like Matt I'm craving a New York chop

cheese you have on the ingredients can

you do it so I went online I just went

some channels studied a bunch of

different restaurants I'm like that's

the way I want to do it it's just a

burger in the Hoke essentially so you

take you take your your H your your sub

roll you take 200 gram of of my beef

which is basically a double you chop it

up put the onions in chop it in put a

bunch of cheese lettuce tomato

mayonnaise roll it up that's a chopped

cheese and people absolutely love it

An interview with DJ on a channel called Thairish Times popped up on my feed yesterday. The guy who runs the channel apparently lived in Thailand for 12 years and he was voicing his concerns exactly the same as many commenters here and on DJ's videos, namely why move wholesale after only one holiday, what's the rush, are you concerned about being taken advantage of (not just by a bar girl but by ex pats who will pretend to be your mate but just want to tap you for money). I think Darren must have thought this interview would grow his channel with this other guy's subscribers, but he seemed rattled and defensive by the end and just kept repeating that he knew what he was doing. It was an uncomfortable watch.

I've noticed in his comments there's one guy who seems to rush to DJs defence at every negative comment, captainperfection is the username. It's either darren himself or someone he knows.

Every negative comment, they're there sticking up for him.

It was something to do with Dazza's attitude to women. It was even more troglodyte that MacGrifters.
Yeah Geoff Carter alluded to that in one of his comments.

Kinda ties in with him going to Thailand, its gives him a power over woman that he doesn’t have here.

I think the upshot is Thailand hasn’t been great for Darren’s health or bank balance the way he thought it would, we have all seen it and this grandchild is way for him to save face and come home. I’d love to know more about the people that he thought his friends that were not. The big fat bar owner maybe ?

Geoff Carter in Pattaya having a mooch, chatting to people, showing you where to get a cheap curry, happy go lucky chappy making fun vlogs. Darren walking through a dull market bartering to buy a pink brolly and chuntering on about copyright music. Knob.
Just watched Geoffs video and it's night and day compared to DJ's.

Geoff is far more down to earth and isn't as pretentious like Darren.
