I'm glad the replies on twitter called her out. I think she just says stuff like this to get everyone to agree with her but its backfired this time 🙈

Re: her latest IG video of ‘how to do a messy up-do’...

In the words of Lady Gaga- “talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it."

NOT.

It must be a very sad and dark moment when you think the only useful or interesting thing you can share with the world is how to pile your hair atop your head and drag out some 90s/00s front wisps.

Please DV do something else! Give us a fashion retrospective/favourite looks, tell us about a film you’ve watched or book you’ve read and what you thought about it. No one cares about your mundane face washing or how to use a hair elastic!

I always cringe when people post their partner online and gush how in love they are when their partner looks really bored and unmatching in energy in the photos
I have noticed her girlfriend looks so bored all the time, but I mean wouldn’t you be if you’re chilling in bed and you look down and you have Dani Vs camera shoved in your face with her pulling her signature scrunched up facial expression 😂

I totally get that people feel being overweight stops them getting the correct diagnosis in chronic illness but that’s the point I’m trying to make , if being fat stops you being able to get diagnosed and treated properly why continue with it ? Its the single best thing you can do for your health .
It’s different if people don’t have health or energy to do so but a lot of these plus size bloggers are actively refusing to lose weight as a lifestyle choice.

It’s like someone smoking 100 cigarettes a day going to see the doctor about being short of breath it might not be the cause but to a doctor the likelihood it is and until you stop the smoking they don’t know .
Also misogynism in healthcare is a very real thing and women in general have issues with disease diagnosis . This isn’t an ‘ unqualified’ view either by the way .
If only it was that easy.
I’ve lost weight before. A lot of weight. Being on a diet gave me an eating disorder. I cant count the number of people I know who like me have been smaller but mentally very unwell. My metabolism is absolute fucked now from starting diets at the age of 16, I’m about 4 stone heavier than I was when I started. Every time I’ve lost weight, the second I’ve eased off tracking every single thing I put in my mouth and enjoyed a meal with my friends, I’ve gained weight. Basically unless I’m miserable and obsessive, taking laxatives the day before weighing myself and punishing myself for doing normal things like having a slice of cake on my own birthday then I’m fat. But I’m not sitting around eating multipacks of crisps, it’s just not as easy as deciding not to be fat.
And my best Dr agrees, there is no one size fits all solution and very few methods that work long term for more than a small percentage of people.

Ive just noticed that she very rarely has anything positive to say about anyone that isn’t in her clique . For someone who is not backward in calling people out, she needs to think before she types.

Not sure why she needed to get her knickers in a twist about that. He’s commenting on a BBC show. I’m not sure I like the message you need to exercise to earn your food but at the same time people are clueless about calories, hence why so many of the population are obese

I thought the same yesterday with her posts about telling a friend of a friend that her ex is bad news. While I appreciate this is a situation that is tricky, putting it on Twitter felt like an attention seeking trick to cause a bit of drama
Yes! I read those tweets and thought the same. Very juvenile - obviously it’s a shitty situ (if true) but it’s not really her place to get involved. She could tell her own friend but not the person in question IMO.

She’s also moaning about the lack of plus size clothing. She needs to look at herself and realise being constantly negative is not aspirational for her followers. She dull dull dull at the moment

I am a relatively new follower* so I had no idea about her family's wealth! Are there pics on her Insta? I assume she owns her own house - does she rent out rooms or have other properties that she rents out? Sorry if this is all common knowledge, I'm behind!

Interesting comment about Invisalign and her teeth and wondered about this - my teeth aren't great and am self conscious about smiling in pics so am always hyper aware of others' teeth and smiles!

* Been following since she did the thread about her first date with her gf on Twitter - I thought it was cute and I love hearing about other lesbians finding love! But I think I mentioned this on one of the other threads - the fetishisation of her butch girlfriend both by her and her (mostly straight!) followers makes me roll my eyes so hard! I have followed a lot of her online friends for years so it's weird that she was never really on my radar.

I liked that article about lockdown and how it affected their relationship, thought it was honest and genuine. Wish she would stop moaning about wanting a cuddle though!

That really gets on my tits....how can you be recommending something you’ve never at least tried on

to be fair to her, if she was being gifted all of those clothes people would be annoyed. I think you can still suggest plus clothing to people without having worn it yourself, if you like it try it yourself and send it back if it’s not what you thought.

This is a generalisation, but I really cannot relate to influencers who have horrendous periods/ and/or don’t know when they’re about to come on.
Guess I was just one of the lucky ones who was regular and they weren’t TOO painful.
