OK so I've just watched the segment where Dan addresses the situation. He did seem emotional. Mind you anyone would be, under threat of investigation, and the scrutiny, etc.
I was torn between thinking he's still an awful person, but also thinking that despite the messenger, he did in fact have a point about social media, and people wanting to destroy GB News or whatever other organisation / channel they don't like, depending on their beliefs. It goes back to what I said the other night - do people (of both sides) want those from "the other side" investigated / cancelled because they are genuinely horrified by the allegations, or in some cases, is it a case of "Yesss! I can't stand that person so I hope they are guilty of awful things and I don't care how or why they are cancelled....I just want them gone". Please understand I was never under illusions that Dan was a wonderful fellow and I feel there is some truth to these allegations somewhere (time will tell hopefully the extent of wrongdoing) but my point still stands about bias, whether it comes from the left or the right.
