Anyone else watched this? I wanted to love it, but only got halfway through episode 1 because I found it to be stupid and the attempts at humour weren't funny at all. I felt embarrassed for her when engaging with the experts.

I'm assuming the version on Netflix is the one I've watched on BBC, and I think Philomena Cunk is absolute genius and genuinely hilarious. Prefer Cunk on Britain, the Shakespeare one is my fave, I've seen it possibly 3 times? The embarrassment is very much so intentional, either cringe humour works for you or it doesn't, I suppose!

Different strokes and all that jazz.
