I was totally thinking the same thing. Showpo is a very successful business with quite a large team. Why the hell is she skimming on this? It looks so DIY & like it looks like a lot of effort for not much returns. Rather than just paying professionals to do the job.

Agreed, I’ve always suspected she did these projects for free (because, really, who would pay for this half-ass shit?) just to generate content and to mine her recipient’s Insta accounts for more followers. This post appears to confirm that. Note they specifically say she “gifted” her time, expertise and even the product! My only question is how does she actually make money to support herself? Because it damn sure isn’t from slapping together tacky DIY hacks. As far as I can tell her only income would be from licensing her name for the curtain range but that can‘t be very much money and I’m guessing she’s already blown that on her 6 month cork house lease. How does she continue to pay the rent on her “studio in the bush” that doesn’t generate any income whatsoever?

The season after she spent weeks in hospital after an episode. But was that the season after she ripped people off or before the season that she got arrested? She spends more time messing around with posting stupid antics & making stupid faces, etc etc. How much time she must waste that could've had her on the road sooner or to bed earlier for the long drive she had to Sydney. I can’t even imagine what these “luxury” projects she’s teasing are going to entail or look like. She has nowhere near the skill set required to pull off designing an actual large scale luxury home. That requires A LOT of expertise.

I guarantee you every architect, builder, tradesman she would need to interact with on a project of that scope would laugh her out of the building. They tend to be a condescending bunch anyways to female interior designers, and that’s when the designer is imminently qualified. They will have no patience for an idiot like Crystal.
