Didn't watch the programme but is the play called Punch? That's been out for a while. I used to get ads for it on my Instagram all the time.BBC one - morning live. They've just shown the story of a mum whose son was killed by one punch. She's met her son's killer. It's now being turned into a play
I've just watched this following your post and wow you were not wrongI've been meaning to mention this for ages but an old TV show (from 2012) called Fatal Encounters popped into my head a while ago. Some of the episodes really stayed with me. Anyway, I did a quick search and found there was actually a third season on Discovery+ that I've never seen. I'm still working though it, as I took a long break after watching this one:
Episode five - Deadly Delivery.
Honestly, forget the bleeping Shawshank Redemption. This is the ultimate story of forgiveness, compassion and what can happen when you have the right team rooting for you.
I cried and cried and cried. Mr BMP had to have a word in the end! I still get emotional thinking about it now. But they are happy tears.
Because I always talk about hope where youth crime is concerned. There has to be hope that something positive can come out of a tragedy, especially involving kids. And this story has it in spades. Uplifting and inspirational. If you watch it, make sure you Google afterwards too.

Has anyone watched Convicting a Murderer? About Steve Avery - I watched the Netflix doc when it came out but this one popped up on my TikTok for you page today. It’s on Prime but £7.99 for the 10 episodes.
I'm 7 episodes in only started it yesterday & it is wild. Difficult to comment without spoiling but just know my jaw is dropping throughout.Haven’t watched this but did watch all of the making of a murderer on Netflix, then I watched Pat Brown on YouTube, my eyes were truly opened!
Ah that’s good to know - I wanted to start it yesterday but didn’t get a chance so will start it next weekI'm 7 episodes in only started it yesterday & it is wild. Difficult to comment without spoiling but just know my jaw is dropping throughout.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Also I know nothing of the case or the final outcome so my thoughts now could be entirely different once I've finished the series.Ah that’s good to know - I wanted to start it yesterday but didn’t get a chance so will start it next week
That said ive just been across to Reddit & it's suggested that watching Convicting a Murderer is worth watching for a different perspective.Making a Murderer on Netflix... like WTF.
Any updates or a thread discussing this case?
So many questions but honestly the parents have aged so much & the twists & turns must be absolutely awful for them.
I’ve just finished watching convicting a murderer. It’s not often I would pay to watch something on top of all our tv subscriptions but it was worth it for the ten episodes. There’s a lot making a murderer left out/edited. Not sure what you think of Stephen Avery & the case but this series is very eye opening. That said ive just been across to Reddit & it's suggested that watching Convicting a Murderer is worth watching for a different perspective.
Honestly I WAS thinking Avery has a valid case BUT having not watched the Convicting a murderer & reading here I'm now doubting myself....I’ve just finished watching convicting a murderer. I think there was an Irish girl who scammed electric picnic tickets over here but nowhere near that amountTicketing Scammer on BBC iPlayer is an interesting watch. About a guy called Miles Hart scammed £1m of Glastonbury tickets in 2024.
I kind of got a bit lost in the documentary. Did he do it twice? Once to his friends and then a few years later to the wider public through that events company. And he can't be hiding very well if the doc makers managed to contact him for a comment. All the relationships seemed really odd. The friends, the Godmother etc.Ticketing Scammer on BBC iPlayer is an interesting watch. About a guy called Miles Hart scammed £1m of Glastonbury tickets in 2024.
Yes he scammed all his friends back in 2022, his mother scammed his godmother for in excess of £300k for the house. He then went on and scammed 2 reseller outlets in 2024 of £1m for Glastonbury tickets.I kind of got a bit lost in the documentary. Did he do it twice?
