I love my cricut machine. I often make stencils for glass etching (the quickest easiest crafty present I can think of), I’ve made so many lovely personalised framed pictures using design space, I’ve personalised cushions, bags, coasters, Christmas decorations and so on, I’ve made hundreds of cake toppers and that’s before you even get to general cutting vinyl to personalise stuff. It’s definitely a great tool for a crafterYou sound very much like me! I'm currently looking into getting a cricut machine... I'm very tempted, just put off a bit by the lack of space to do it in! I keep falling down a rabbit hole looking at you tube videos and Facebook groups
I think the versatility of the machine is what appeals to me as I get bored churning out the same type of things all the time. I'd love to be able to make personalised gifts and possibly even sell a few bits as well.

Does anyone work with pencils alot an can recommend a good sharpener, I have rather expensive pencils that took a good few months to save for, right now I have the faber castell sharpener which at first was amazing but now am finding my pencils breaking more an more which never happened at first, am worried the sharpener is more at fault since the type of pencil I have isn't known for having broken lead, an honestly it's expensive replacing them when I need to an having them break means they are getting sharpened more than they should

Has anyone got any pics or any new baby/ pregnancy crafts they’ve made? I’m pregnant with my first baby and itching to make something but I don’t know what! I can’t knit (well I can knit basic rows and pearl but I’ve never got further than that) or crochet but willing to learn or try any new crafts if I see something I really fancy making. You really don't know the meaning of the word "cute" until you've seen a gorgeous baby peeking out from an equally gorgeous pom pom baby blanket!
I also made a lovely pompom rugs for my granddaughters' bedrooms .. just made a load of pom poms and sewed them onto doubled up Hession . I made the pom poms while watching a film.
Also I made rag rugs
I know you were asking specifically for baby things but I'm thinking for their room as well.

I had a go at making a macrame plant hanger. Tried wikihow but couldn't get the hang(er) of it 
So as usual, went off piste and tried to come up with something that I was happy with. Photo is second attempt.
Highly enjoyable. Just can't understand tutorials I'm just going to use visuals to help out when I try some other bits.

she's having a baby! Do stick with it, you can definitely get the hang of it - it looks like you've used yarn? You might find it easier with a string of some sort - jute works, ordinary old post office white cotton is perfect, the green stuff for the garden - something which doesn't compact down too 'small' when you knot it.
Shops have in a disney crochet magazine, picked up the first one today, will be able to make a blanket with little disney squares on it an this one has mickey bunting, little mermaid baby blanket an jungle book plant hangers

Thanks I'll try an get that an give it a try, I try an look after the pencils as much as possible an have never dropped them so am a bit dissapointed it might be the sharpener damaging them

Years ago I made cards for a short period of time. Sold a few but I think I got hooked more on buying crafts supplies than actually crafting.
I have tons of card, paper, and little adornments, decorations, etc, and I feel like I really want to make stuff but don't really know what.
I have a box of cute little paper giftbags I made ages ago and done nothing with. I also have loads of little pots and bottles, etc. Many recycled.
Years ago, I trained as an holistic therapist and I had quite a lot of oils, creams I needed to use up. I popped them into the little pots, bottles, etc, dolled them up so they looked really cute and took them into work at Christmas for people to help themselves. People loved them and left me little donations.
TBH, I can't get into making products as it's so complicated and time-consuming. I did think about buying wholesale and decanting into my own packaging - I contacted a good wholesaler and they said this was fine as long as properly labelled. Thought it might be nice to try and do some gift fairs but just at Christmas time. However, I work weekends and this is when they all take place. Online is a bit too risky as if they don't sell after a certain amount of time I'd have to chuck them.
Then I thought I could just make little decorative gift bags, card topers, dolled-up containers, etc, and try and sell them online (or somewhere). Not to make money but maybe just recoup a few expenses and get all these craft supplies used up.
I feel the urge to do something but have no real idea what. Any of you creative peeps have any ideas?

Why not start off with making cards? If you have all the stuff and have done it before it might get your creativity flowing again with no outlay? Cards will sell online or maybe sell to your colleagues if your work would allow it?
Yeah, I'm not sure I was really into it and I used to get myself stressed out as I think I tended to make them too over-elaborate. I remember card-making went through a bit of a fad years ago. I wouldn't have thought there was much of a market these days, however? I used to be on a card-making forum and posters were selling really gorgeous cards in bulk for pennies.
