No but they might not be happy about it.I think even if places are offering double bookings, if you turn up for your appointment and say you only want the flu vaccine, I doubt they'll hold you down and force the booster on you.
I hear that a lot. people feel coerced into doing things they don't want to. The medical person either get annoyed or laughs and tells you how silly you are being. No but they might not be happy about it.
I asked to delay my daughters mmr and to just have the booster and she was so annoyed with me and said I'd wasted her time!

Senator Rand Paul concerns me due to his anti-abortion (he is lobbying to ban abortions in Kentucky) and homophobic views - he's previously said same sex marriage "offends (himself) and a lot of people" and there's a "crisis that allows people to think there would be some other sorts of marriage." than heterosexual.THIS
Indeed. The double standard with the "my body my choice" argument is a strange one.Senator Paul Rand concerns me due to his anti-abortion (he is lobbying to ban abortions in Kentucky) and homophobic views - he's previously said same sex marriage "offends (himself) and a lot of people" and there's a "crisis that allows people to think there would be some other sorts of marriage." than heterosexual.
More broadly - it's interesting that a lot these "anti-vaccine" & COVID-minimising politicians have these kinds of hateful views - the venn diagram is practically a circle.
It's also interesting how the "my body my choice" argument is valid for things like masks & vaccination, but entirely invalid for women & their reproductive care.
Also goes the other way many of those who are pro-choice also pushed vaccines on those who didn't want themSenator Paul Rand concerns me due to his anti-abortion (he is lobbying to ban abortions in Kentucky) and homophobic views - he's previously said same sex marriage "offends (himself) and a lot of people" and there's a "crisis that allows people to think there would be some other sorts of marriage." than heterosexual.

She was horrible!! It was the paediatrician that advised we delayed until she'd had allergy testing but she was still really shitty about it. I complained about her but then it was awkward as she was the only nurse that did children's vaccinationsI hear that a lot. people feel coerced into doing things they don't want to. It's a horrible situation, and one no professional should put anyone in.She was horrible!! Agree to disagree on this one - it isn't a random tweet someone has dug up from a decade ago, it's the specific ideas he's proposing for *right now*.Also goes the other way many of those who are pro-choice also pushed vaccines on those who didn't want them
Anyway we are talking about this video not his other views. (that I don't agree with ) The trouble with so many is they wont watch or take anything seriously if some has said anything they don't agree with. No one in the world has the same views on everything.
So what it boils down to is because he has a different political view, that means he shouldn't be investigating Fauci's blatant corruption and ties to big pharma? What a ridiculous argument. Also goes the other way many of those who are pro-choice also pushed vaccines on those who didn't want them

nothing to say to that but laugh, words failed meSo what it boils down to is because he has a different political view, that means he shouldn't be investigating Fauci's blatant corruption and ties to big pharma? What a ridiculous argument.
Crazy isn't it. I can never get my head around that type of thinking.Denmark
As opposed to Jacinda
Strange concept that we have to agree with everything someone thinks and if we don't they go in the baddie bin forever no matter what.
Exactly! Fauci is responsible for murdering millions of innocent people, but let's focus on the man investigating him because he said a few controversial things. Crazy!I had not to say to that but laugh, words failed me
fauci is a murdering scum bag. And I don't give a shit what beloved fact-checkers say, that man killed many thousands and the true gay/ rights and AIDS campaigners know it. But like everyone speaking the truth they are shut down.
Crazy isn't it. I can never get my head around that type of thinking.
Exactly. While I know this isn't a politics thread, I would never vote for a politician who was homophobic and anti abortion as those are two fundamental viewpoints that I strongly disagree with.Agree to disagree on this one - it isn't a random tweet someone has dug up from a decade ago, it's the specific ideas he's proposing for *right now*.
It's become worryingly common to tuck these kinds of hateful views under something more palatable - this way he reels in people who are hesistant around vaccination, and nudges them towards homophobia & misogny.
I think it's a low benchmark to ask for views from a politician who does not agree with vaccine mandates, and wants evidence driven policy, but isn't homophobic and wanting to remove reproductive care.

If that politician's views on vaccines aligned with mine, that wouldn't be enough for me to support them. And I'm not saying people shouldn't vote for him - everyone is entitled to vote for whoever they want - but to act like strong viewpoints such as those above don't really matter if you agree in other areas is crazy to me.
It was just a general response. Like I say people here can vote for whoever they like - their decision is their own and private, unless they choose to share it of course. No one here is voting for him. this is purely about vaccines and him questioning Fauci not his views on anything else.
Don't read or reply to me then. no skin off my noseIt was just a general response. Like I say people here can vote for whoever they like - their decision is their own and private, unless they choose to share it of course.
I think calling Fauci a "murderer" is ridiculous and so hyperbolic it puts me off reading anything else as it's so extreme and unbalanced.
Same applies to you if you don't like my posts. I've no issue either way.Don't read or reply to me then. no skin off my nose
Erm I am not the one who said this.... "it puts me off reading anything else"Same applies to you if you don't like my posts. I've no issue either way.
