My friend’s sister went for a test. It was 40 mins away. She left home at 9am and got home at 7pm. She said the queues were horrendous.

My work have called me today and depending on what Boris says next, we are expected to go back on shift patterns. I work in an office doing marketing 9-5 and have been told my shift will now be 6-1! Jhz!!!!!!!!!!

Weve been lucky to be out our pjs by 11! I'm going to need some serious notice for going back to work and the kids going to school.

I remembered you’d said it was the beginning of May but I didn’t want to ask when.
It will be hard but, as others have said, you can have a celebration of his life once it is allowed.
I guess the hardest part will be that you’re unable to comfort your nan and mum.
I hope it goes as well as it can for you all xx

See this worries me, they mentioned chanign peoples shift patterns and travel times. I used to leave for work at 6:40 just to get a space at the station and I get one of the last seats on the 7am train. I cannot see how if I get a late 'slot' how I can get to work. There is only a bus every 1h 20 and it takes over 30 mins to do 6 miles! Maybe I'll have to get a bike

I'm 99% certain that my kids uniform will no longer fit them. We were actually going to go out and get them it but then lockdown happened. They may very well be going back in jogging bottoms and trainers

with the amount mines been eating she will be going in my clothes. I'll have pop and feed her snacks at break time. Like when the whole Jamie Oliver thing was happening.

Completely relate to this. Think my kids might actually have worms!

My local theatre has today emailed to say all 2020 productions have been cancelled. But they may be able to put on a minimal schedule over Christmas!

6am? Can they force you to do that? Surely people have contracts and they can’t just make people work stupid hours

Does anyone here work in the gambling industry (casino/bingo etc). The company I work for didn’t take the virus seriously, didn’t refill hand soap, didn’t clean anything, didn’t ensure that we could all keep 2m distance, insisted that we continue to go to work after Boris announced all social venues to close, lied that they’d pay us full pay etc. I’m dreading when they’re allowed to reopen as they’ll expect ‘all hands on deck’ to get the venues ready and will not be putting our safety first. They really are a profit-before-people company

I hope that the pub/restaurant/gaming sectors aren’t allowed to open for months yet.

Soooooo glad I don’t have kids. Sorry Honestly though couldn’t think of anything worse that being stuck at home 24hrs a day looking after a kid. I’m happy just my little quiet dog and hubby

Getting a hit nervous....I feel like all of a sudden all i am seeing is about relaxations of lock downs and government plans for going back to work. I'm just worried its way too early!! Especially when there is a bank holiday on Friday.

I think regardless of when they lift it people will feel apprehensive and scared. It they drag it out until september it will be flu season around the corner again they clearly want some level of herd immunity before then. Come on guys lets be real, all the nightingales are empty, this virus causes mild cold symptoms in majority of people. I feel lile government have done such a good job at scaring us as if the mortality rate of this virus was 50% or something. Logical mind tells me there is so many bugs and viruses out there and always have been even before this that we cant live in constant fear or we will go crazy. I think we should all breathe and realise this virus isnt as deadly as everyone seems to think there is definitely worse things out there we are prone to catching. Lets breathe keep calm and carry on

He's not announcing anything until Sunday which makes me think he's getting the bank holiday over then easing the lockdown
