I wasnt judging you though. This family watched us clapping through the window and closed there blinds on us, can't you see how that comes across as disrespectful? Even a clap at the window would of meant something.
I dont know, I know people dont have to do it but I think its a lovely gesture and shows community spirit. As I said though each to their own.
I'm with you on that! I wish they had done a full lockdown with the army from the start. My family and I have completely isolated ourselves, not been out anywhere apart from couple of essential food trips and short walk along our street...and all I keep seeing in social media is people having big family bbqs, picnics in busy parks, going to visit family (but not staying long so they'll be fine
) It's really affecting my older sons mental health. He's hardly sleeping and when he does he's having nightmares. My youngest is having bad tantrums as he doesn't understand why everything he usually does is closed and we can only go a short walk every day.
The sooner everybody stays put the better!
So just been speaking to my best friend. She attends cobra level "bronze" shes an area manager for our local city council (adult care).
Hospitals are sending covid patients back to care homes (still infected), health care assistants are signing death certificates, no one (even if they DO NOT have a dnr) is being recusitated and bodies are literally being dumped in rooms due to private ambulances being run.
I've put this on here because I know its 100% true and anonymous.
God knows what else they are talking about at "silver level" I'm assuming "gold" is head government.
Again this is our local city council and death tolls arent that high yet. Death statistics are no way near accurate because their are bodies left in rooms for days.

No you weren't judging me directly but I also didn't clap and won't clap which you said is disrespectful because of all the NHS has done. I KNOW what the NHS do. duck, I know too well what they do. Each to their own, sure, but you're still judging other people here.
A clap may have meant something to you, but maybe not to them.
And maybe they closed their blinds because they saw you watching them through their window? You would've been looking to notice them watching you.
It isn’t disrespectful, if you really knew and understood that everyone didn’t have to do it then you wouldn’t be complaining about your neighbours.
On a positive note my Tesco delivery just came and we only had 3 substitutions

HCA’s cannot sign death certs, it doesn’t take a genius to work that one out.
I honestly thought lockdown had been lifted near me today but i didn’t get the memo.
Took me 45mins to get to tesco cause i was stuck in traffic (usually 5mins)
Then outside tesco there’s a shrine for a road traffic accident, im not exaggerating when i say this there was 60+ people all stood together laying flowers/ ballons, drinking on the main road.
Then on the other side of the carpark was 4 mums with their prams all stood together having a mothers meeting.
Its simple rules, what is so hard about them where some people can’t follow

Clapping or not clapping is the least of our worries right now, we've got a potentially lethal virus going about and the threat of a police state being demanded by half the public. All this causes fear, we're all scared and it isn't healthy. Maybe we need to take a step back and remember who we were three weeks ago?
