Yesterday Todd, who had been beaten, with splenic injury and internal bleeding was left in a wheel chair, in the waiting room, to talk with his friends as no bed was available. Today he's in a monitored bed with an iv line running. They need a half-decent medical advisor.

The comment about being coerced into the marriage is a great one. Todd should be able to answer to that honestly.

It’s appalling! I have no medical training, but I have spent time in hospital with internal bleeding etc and I am in shock how poorly things are portrayed! I’m guessing the writers don’t even watch medical dramas
In real life he’d have at least been on a trolley with some lines started already ffs. When I was admitted I was straight on a iv, (even though at that point no one knew what was wrong with me) spent time in what I think was possibly a cupboard or small office briefly and then into an orthopaedic ward as that’s where a bed was.

That’s why I love him, just makes up his own moral stance depending on who it is I’ve said before, I know people who are like this so probably why he doesn’t annoy me as much

I also thought that the way she responded to Sarah’s query about Theo’s temperament was defensive and certainly didn’t make me feel that he hadn’t hurt her. If anything, it felt like she was covering for him. Maybe he paid her off to keep quiet or maybe she’s still under his control in some way (or maybe it was just poor acting lol).

I think that if it wasn’t true, a more believable reaction would have been one of quiet curiosity, not vehement denial; he’s her ex and they split acrimoniously.

I feel that Sarah asked her the wrong question when she asked if Theo had been physically abusive to her.
Because the vast majority of Theo’s abuse towards Todd hasn’t been physical, it’s been about controlling and gaslighting through coercive control and manipulation.
Can Sarah do anything right?

Yes Gary is the same! And I’m hoping that’s what they’re trying to do with Jodie in a different kinda way- I wasn’t keen at first but she’s crackers and I’m kinda liking her ‘Rob the rich to feed the poor’ attitude

Yeah I thought their ‘rivalry’ was akin to sibling, trying to get one over on each other but still respecting each other. They can’t make their mind up, but the fact Kit looked out for her regarding Becky makes me like him more than her. I don’t think she’d go that far for him, but I suppose she’s got to reign him in a bit, similar to a big sister type role I hope Carla says to her, ‘well he did save my life so maybe cut him some slack’

is anyone else thinking that Jodie could have something to do with whoever dies and that Lisa's warrant card will be found at the murder scene? Debbie became a suspect and arrested following the corriedale crash on her wedding day though its odd to the same same so soon after but i just cant help but think that the warrant card will feature in the death investigation

I hope they don’t because it felt like too many “normal” people did something out of character plus they don’t even reference or talk about it now lol
