Why is Theo never at work?

There's not enough eye roll emoji's in the world to describe tonight's episode 
I’m definitely well into the habit of fast forwarding as soon as Theo appears on screen.
In the past both Corrie and other soaps have had horrible controlling nasty people as part of certain storylines and I’ve always been “well I know the actor is quite a nice person in real life and this is only acting” and that’s what I’ve always repeated to myself while watching their scenes… but I just can’t with this one, because from what we’ve read about him we know that he seems a nasty piece of work in real life too.
His leaving is long overdue.

Horrible character, even without the coercive control and DV he’s the type you’d feel very uncomfortable around… that rictus grin for a start
I always watch it in the morning but today I wanted to turn it off as I hate Thoe as a character and a person - in the end I did but watched it later in the morning. The sooner this guy goes the better, not only as an actor but as a person.
He does this twirl tonight and I nearly brought my porridge up.

You’re right, he really over plays it and he clearly thinks he’s a bleeping amazing actorObviously we all hate Theo but there is something extra that I don't like/annoys me with the portrayal of his character and I think it is partly James's over characterisation. I hope they wrap this up soon I would even take more of Swarla.

On a lighter note…
Bit off topic maybe, has anyone else watched The Other Bennet Sister at all? The lead actress reminds me of Sam from Corrie so much it's quite distracting! They should cast them as brother and sister in something for sure.

She does look like him
Susie is an excellent little actress. She has great comic timing for her age and she'll only get better. She's a legend in my eyes.
I've not been married yet (ahem, looking at you boyfriend...), but don't they do this whole thing prior to the ceremony where they take each of you off to a room to check you've not been coerced and ask a load of questions? I'm sure no one would let a surprise wedding where one half of the couple had no idea it was happening take place like this 
She reminds me of those viral cheeky little ice cream twins."I bet he can hear me!".
