I’ve just looked too and he appeared for the first time in a 1hr episode on 20th October and that appears to be his last appearance until today. No wonder I didn’t remember he’d been in it before
To be honest this doesn’t bother me across any of the soaps. I really like all the scenes in the pubs, cafes, shops etc. years ago nobody bothered about this, but it still wasn’t ’normal, everyday life’. We wouldn’t have the soaps if they had to follow everyday boring life. I love classic Corrie because they’re in the pub all time, it allows so many storylines to flow and just good banter between characters.
At least that theory that Fiona Middleton (Angela Griifin’s character) was the mother of Ollie & Will is out of the window (thank god as one contrived coincidental link to Steve with Jim potentially being Ben’s dad is one thing, but Steve’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his daughter Emma also being the mother of his nephews would be a step too far)

I really want Theo to be dealt with within the proper way & go to prison for his abusive behaviour. But before that happens, I would love for Gary Windass to beat the absolute tit out of him. I think there’s only Gary that’s the man for the job. He makes my skin crawl.

He interviewed them both and tonight he was looking deep in thought while they were in the pub (unless he was supposed to be worrying re Mal)Are they leading to an ‘intervention style’ ending- so George doesn’t trust him, James has been looking sus at Theo, Sarah has had her doubts etc… I wonder if it’ll be a few more people who get an inkling then it’ll climax. Or maybe it’ll be new Harry who spots something

I agree! No chemistry at all. And I get the feeling that, irl, Todd’s actor (Gareth?) doesn’t really like James Cartwright. Maybe finds him a bit too much? Maybe the circumstances around the GBH conviction

That’s the vibe I get from the Theo guy, as a character and an actor.
Even disregarding the controlling and violence, the term “a bit too much” describes perfectly how he comes across.

I'm hoping Christina's early doubts come back - I thought originally she wasn't fooled by him at all.
They could have thought ahead and planned it better so the marathon was on this coming Sunday’s episode!
