So Theo spikes Todd's drink while he's out. I'm so hoping he doesn't use this to take advantage of him and SA him 😔

There is so many evil people in Corrie at the moment! I would like to hope there isn’t that many nasty people down my road lol

Had a search on Wiki and it seems excluding Corrie (180 episodes) and Tracey Beaker (41 episodes), everything else he’s appeared in over the last 23 years has been one-off/ a couple of single episodes, or short TV films.

From that Wiki page, it comes across that for the past 20+ years he’s been struggling as an actor to land any long-termwork and the roles he’s had are very minor.

He didn’t have any significant roles at all before Corrie and even then he’ll be leaving after only a year. I don’t see him getting work given the media he’s been getting in relation to the assault.

I’ve no idea what the archers is or how popular it is, just had a quick search and there’s thousands upon thousands of episodes. So it’s a radio drama - is he a main character in that?

Really Corrie is his first significant acting job.
The Archers is incredibly popular and has been on the radio since 1951. It's been going longer than Corrie.

It's all over the media that Theo is leaving so I think it's safe to say it's not a spoiler anymore.

I'm very surprised he was cast tbh given his criminal record. Corrie usually bin or suspend anyone as soon as there's a whiff of scandal never mind take someone on convicted of such a serious offence.

I can’t imagine he’d ever have been staying long term anyway. Not with the storyline he has
Corrie spokesperson confirms this. But the wording is very odd. Why do they say James was FULLY AWARE how long he would be in the show?

And a Corrie rep saying in another publication it was embarrassing they had hired James Cartwright for this role!

James Cartwright played Morrissey in the film 24 Hour Party People but had his scene cut 😂

ITV clearly don’t have any morals so I wouldn’t put it past them to think “oh he is actually a thug, at least he will play the part well”

That’s not weird to me. He’d be aware if he only signed a 10 month contract
Actors are quite often aware how long they are signed up for if it's for a particular story. The guy who was playing Mick Michaelis always knew he'd be in for a specific time.

It's actually more unusual for them to stay longer and even more unusual for them to become a full time character like Lisa Swain. I suppose it depends if they connect with the public.

I like George and Christina but this ridiculous will storyline is getting tedious now where is it heading?
He's just sitting back and letting his business dwindle stand up for yourself George 🙄

I didn't know until last night's Oscars, that the mother of the boy who plays Hamnet is the actress who played Eileen's sister.

What a lovely, mature lad he was on last night's red carpet.

Both her boys are in it. Jacobi is Hamnet and Noah is Hamlet
