We definitely didn’t know he was bi before he slept with James as it was a shock to us as viewers when it was revealed that’s who Carl was messing around with.
It was a rubbish revelation when it came out - everyone just reacted like they would if it was “regular” cheating (and actually, prob not even as bad as that!); not one person made a comment about James being a man and Abi a woman! Neither Tracey or Abi did when they talked about it either! Makes me wonder why they even bothered with that angle of the storyline if it wasn’t going to add any additional gravitas.

Yes! Thank you. I actually thought I’d lost some bloody time! I rewatched the last few mins of the previous episode to see if I’d missed something. It wouldn’t have been so bad if it didn’t cut to Carl and Tyrone already scrapping. I wonder if there was a last minute edit to cut something out before that. Very odd. But now you guys are commenting at least I know I’m not losing my marbles.
