I was lucky enough to have been there for the wedding with the dementia choir, it is a fab hotel, very swish. We got to have a nosey round and here’s the wedding cake… Sue Devaney and Jodie Prenger were absolutely brilliant with the group (as were the rest of the cast) but they spent ages with us.

Gosh the decision to give Debbie dementia by the script writers was such a shit one. She's pretty much the strongest character in the soap. They should be fired.

Billy got annoying in the last few years I thought, but his death actually upset me yesterday. I feel like he was such a good friend to Todd and would have helped him with the Theo situation and now he's gone and no one else knows about the abuse. Poor Todd

Yes, we have 2- one in Altrincham and one in Oldham so there were half from each group

I have watched tonight's and all I will say is Corrie is going to miss Debbie, big time.

I know that Corrie often has improbable storylines and I get as exasperated as anyone with them, but one that I’d welcome would be hearing that Debbie had actually been misdiagnosed.

What was that scene at the beginning of Wednesday’s episode where Tyrone was in Debbie’s flat attacking Carl? Where did Tyrone come from and how did he get into the flat without Carl knowing he was there? It didn’t look like Ronnie or Debbie were around to let him in

It felt like the episode started mid-scene with no lead up to that confrontation.

Why was no-one bothered about Billy and tried to get him out. But EVERYONE was there for bloody Lisa. Who still looked like a miserable cow.

I absolutely LOVED the toilet scene! The girls having a giggle and a gossip, doing touch ups in the mirror and Bernie sat on the loo it’s great to see some real life situations and light hearted fun! I love the girl gang they’ve got going on 🩷

It’s good to see because Corrie’s success was built on strong women characters over the years, Elsie Tanner, Annie Walker, Ena Sharples, Hilda Ogden, Bet Lynch.
And this girl gang really do seem to have the right chemistry for some welcome distraction from the doom and gloom storylines.
I really want a night out with these ladies

I absolutely loved Charity slagging off Becky’s coat to Carla in the lift and Steve thinking he saw Vikram (Jay). I think it’s just going to be a load more misery for all the Corrie characters for the foreseeable though - especially Debbie and Todd who had enough to deal with anyway. I know it was a well done episode with some really good bits but it was more like something out of casualty and it’s not as though death and accidents are that out of the ordinary in soaps anymore. I f**king hate Carl and Theo!!!
