I'm sorry, but what size blanket is she talking about here. Maybe it's because I'm not a very slim person, but I think the size of the blanket would be important when considering making a sling with it. The sling I had was incredibly long.
I don't think she could have used a blanket as a sling safely either, but they didn't care about safety anyway.
AND HOW COULD SHE bleeping BREATHE UNDER THERE?? Sorry but this is infuriating. How can the defence even try to suggest this was a safe and reasonable way to carry a baby?!
I don't understand how the carer would have been able to take Victoria abroad without a passport for her. Unless CM instructed her to hide her when going through customs.I wonder what kind of carer or who given nobody knew about the baby , who? given they seem to be isolated from everyone ? Who were they going to trust to willingly give their six month old baby to while they went abroad and have someone later bring this baby to them in another country? You know the baby they were so desperate to keep so ss couldn’t remove her , but were willingly going to leave her , ffs come up with a better story

I think in reality they were trying to leave the country illegally with the baby, but obviously can’t say that.
Agreed, makes you wonder why they didn’t plan this before she had the baby , especially if nobody knew she was pregnant ? Maybe to gather more money prior to leaving, the conditions of his probation? If they even managed to get abroad surely his conditions of signing in etc would still have alerted services to him

I think it’s the big red scarf / pashmina that she was wearing in the early missing photos. It was long, but I agree nothing like the wrap slings I used.

Exactly , she had the finances , passport , she could drive, nobody knew about the baby, obsessive family and PI!s knew nothing about her and even if they did they may have only been thrilled to see she was parenting away from him.

I thought the time line was purchased a buggy, caught on cctv going round a corner/down an alley with it, and then reappearing without the buggy and the baby nowhere to be seen, but with CM now carrying the Lidl bag?

The kindest thing for any of the kids would've been to be born to other people. I've known some crappy parents but women who put truly awful men above their kids are the bleeping worst. Worst of all, these kids will find out about this later and no amount of financial support will fix how it makes them feel.

It's an interesting one when she is claiming she was being followed by private detectives and were unable to stay in one place for more than 3 days so social services didn't have jurisdiction over them...

Her passport was in the car, so I tend to think it was.
Perhaps MG was on bail for the DV incident (or something else) and that’s why his passport was removed, CM blamed her parents, but obviously they wouldn’t have that power.
