Is anyone else old enough to remember her on big brother? I guess then she was kind of cute but still (to me) seemed a little "unwashed".

I did enjoy her content on Facebook many years ago, I thought what she was doing with the charity was great, helping less fortunate communities, but when she was launching her label & broke up with the husband, met denim, it all unraveled and I think she was one of the first people I consciously unfollowed, she was showing herself to be a fraud, a filthy bogan and not what I first thought she was.

During the trenches of parenting babies and managing parenting and marriage etc she shared some interesting insights along with the chaos. I could never understand why it was so hard for her to get it together. The things she’d rant about weren’t that hard to solve and it seemed she refused to do anything to help herself like use occasional care to get some relief from the kids… when I started feeling like the kids were truly being neglected and could see there were other things at play (drugs/ alcohol abuse) I couldn’t follow her anymore. It was too sad to watch it all unravel

Out of interest - what was it about her that appealed to you? I'm not her (or prob your) age group or demographic and to me she's always seemed dirty and swanky and not affluencial at all. It always amazed me she had a following.
It you mean aspirational in terms of lifestyle? No.
She was empowering, the way she talked was different. At the time I think it was relatively new and refreshing, especially against the other bloggers of the time. I recall feeling the way she spoke about Bill to be completely fake, as soon as the book (which featured him lots) was out they split. I wasn’t surprised.
I was a young single mum at the time just realising my boyfriend was abusive while dealing with family issues involving my kids dad etc. she was perfect for me at the time! My friend too. I’ve never idolised her, but I found parts of her relatable and made me feel safe. When I went to her tour… most the questions she was asked were from people going through domestic violence…. So I know I wasn’t alone in feeling she gave a safe space.

All that said, she got with denim. It seemed he was taking advantage. Sometimes felt she over shared with the kids lives. I think kids need more than just chaos to thrive in. Little ones hair never brushed etc. as time goes by she isn’t that person to me anymore but I still don’t think I dislike her.

It’s funny the cultural context too, Australians always seem more critical which I suspect is due to the missing context x

I really enjoyed her content years ago but now her page is like a QVC channel. I also was a sponsor for years for Rafiki castle which I think she did great things for. Had no idea Denim was a meth head, always enjoyed his blogs on Cooke Trinity, sad!

I’ve just stumbled across her page again, how come she still isn’t living in her house? I know she was staying with her mum because her and denim weren’t together but weren’t separated or something. Seems strange to just abandon your home.

Was going to say, I’m quite surprised she’s known at all outside of Australia. Of all the Aussie influencers that we have, why Con 🤔
I think she went viral for that “parent sex” post on Facebook & IG. Must be in the re-shares she went global. I think she did a UK book tour lol

I think her mum helps her with the kids and who knows maybe she rents her house as she’s broke.

Never liked her, never found her empowering. I also loathe when influencers pick a charity and use it to propel their popularity.
And ok the charity in question might have benefited for a short time but we don't know the exact ins and outs either.
I often find these influencers that 'raise for charity' don't give as much OR anything in the case of Simmo Anderson  But they look good on the gram!
I never found Constance empowering as I said above, I found her disgusting from the get go, her house was filthy she was filthy, she sat her kids on the kitchen table in their gastro nappies, they ran around with no clothes on - but seen on the gram
She showed herself on the toilet naked on the gram
It wasn't empowering it was gross.
That voice :rolleyes:o_O worse than Sophie G's! grating and whiny. The whole Queen thing was also demoralizing because if you weren't down with her you weren't a Queen!
So much more but yep just found her revolting from the get go. She dragged those kids around and they saw all of it. She was all about the $ once she got a taste of it.

She made a post about her daughter, BV. Is she 13? Looks like she has lip fillers compared to older pics

Wow, haven't followed Constance in years but back in the day she was pretty popular here in the UK. This post was going semi viral and as someone in the throes of pnd and raising babies and toddlers it was relatable and she seemed down to earth.

I did think the hero worship of her was a bit ott, I think putting any human being on a pedestal like that is bound to end in feeling let down at some point. Also can't say I'm surprised that she's crashed and burned tbh, but I hope all the kids involved are ok and have other stable adults in their lives.

That was what she use so to post but her IG is now like a online shop. She sells all sorts of weird clothing and other things. The “blog” posts are rare.

PTWM was well in with her back in the day, including her and Josh getting matching crown “queen” tattoos on their fingers after meeting Con on her tour.

I don’t know what to make of Con any more, at one point she was everywhere, now she barely posted about!
