She dragged out the name reveal video so she could put mid-roll ads in. Their introduction and her explanation would have barely made the cutoff, so she had to add that stuff at the beginning and her little slideshow so she could monetize it more.
I think they probably wanted to have a 'y' in all their children's names. I think the 'L' sound would have blended the three names together better. FLynn, WesLey and something like Lily sounds more cohesive in my head

I also pay for premium, so I watched the name reveal incognito because I was curious how many ads she put in.
There were 3 ads total. One at the start and 2 mid-rolls, the first mid-roll was conveniently right before the name announcement, so if you just watched to find out the names and didn't stay for the explanation, she still got you with 2 unskippable ads.
If that's the case, I think better choices based on her list would have been Lila Joy and Sonny Harper, that way all have a "y" in their name somewhere and I think Flynn, Lila and Sonny would sound nice/flow well together.
Even though I wouldn't choose the names myself, I think at least Maisy and Wesley are wearable, I have seen worse names like Gravity, Wildflower and whatever Nick Cannon named his children.
I quite like the names. They’re both fairly uncommon names so there won’t be a million people in the same class with the same name when they are at school. The last time I heard the name Wesley was on How To Get Away With Murder- shortening it to Wes is kinda cute. Koy is usually a surname but there have been instances of it being used as a first name. In my family there are names on both sides that are used as middle names for the boys that were actually surnames that were going to die out from the maternal side. Both these surnames came from great grandmothers - one on my mothers side, the other on my fathers side. I’m wondering if that has where the name Koy has come from in Erik’s family. A maternal line where there were no boys born and they want to find a way to carry on the name.
I don’t care about their names but why all these disclaimers how their names are perfect and nobody should object etc.

In my personal opinion, Koy is an awful name so is Maisy. Alice Mae sounds really cool though..
But in the end of the day that’s the least of the problem if these poor kids that she treats like props. Baby merch… yuck

We can't all like the same things and if we did, what a bleeping boring world it would be. If someone doesn't like your child's name get the duck over it, they don't have to, it only matters that you do!
The tribute thing doesn't make sense to me. You're not 'carrying the family name' of Wayne by calling your kid something that begins with W, and you're also not doing it by changing May to Maisy. But I do think they are cute names though!
Funny thing is, seems like it went Erik’s way besides how much she wanted to control it.. She shared many times she wanted earthy nature names lol
