I remember there was a good documentary years ago which followed UAF and EDL. They filmed at the same protest but from different sides. When it came to it nothing was much different between them in the end. Shouting at police, shouting at each other, fighting with the police, fighting with each other. It ended with arrests galore on both sides.

I also get fed up with these crowdfunding sites being used by some as a 'fund my life' site.

It's easy to criticize others out there trying to make a change while you're sat on your backside bitching and moaning about them on a website. Clearly not able to see the bigger picture and realise it's about doing what's necessary in the moment. I don't actually see the need for you to be so aggressive.
I just think, like many people, it's hypocritical to cause absolute chaos for people living their day to day lives when those people are probably doing their bit more than these protesters. Dumping all their crap in the street that someone has to clean up and sort, if they bother. They're not even doing the basics themselves so how can they do what they're doing with integrity? They've been doing it how long now and haven't changed a thing, just become a huge drain on resources.

I know the message, I've heard about it enough on the radio and read about it, I'm not ignorant about it. Not agreeing with what you are saying doesn't make me ignorant.

The tone from many supporters of the protests all over the Internet, TV and radio has been aggressive overall I've noticed. Its possibly why people are not having much sympathy.

I wondered about the micro fauna/flora too also possible surface damage removing it from the Preselli Bluestone (going off memory for stone type here so may be wrong)

I had been wondering about the wisdom of them suggesting to wash the stuff off instead of brushing (gently!) as I have no idea what colouring they used to make the cornflour orange (I've never seen naturally orange cornflour?) as making the stuff wet would surely run the risk of it seeping into the stone surface and staining it and maybe the lichen too...?

Things will happily survive the elements and the harshest of nature's batterings but fall apart at the slightest hint of manual intervention or warm soapy water.

Tas well as a ridiculously big fine, they should be made to clear up their own mess and not allowed to leave until it's done and if they don't finish in time then what happens next depends on whether anyone asks when was the last sacrifice done, is it not time for a revival...

Agreed. It's so wasteful. I understand they have their views, but pouring milk all over the floor of shops isn't the way to change hearts and minds.

It just makes me want to consume more milk to be honest, as an 'up yours' to them.

Funny how they stuck to Harrods, Waitrose, M&S and Fortnum & Mason with their silly little protests. Why might that be? Scared of the reception they might get in other supermarkets?

They should be charged with theft, as while they didn't remove any milk from the premises of those shops, they still wasted it to the point that none of it can be sold. Therefore it's as good as stealing it.
