I don’t know. I’m really conflicted. I think she’d actually get better profile putting out some mild posts once a week and focussing on other stuff altogether. Even for her biggest fans, her hyper fixation must be exhausting - I think her passion for the topic and her horror at the situation is genuine.
The Andrew bolt article this morning on the WhatsApp saga and the subsequent comments are just so gross. Full of half truths and hyperbole and so so sexist. The comments make it clear that his readers now all believe Clementine herself put together the files and released them. He is a vile misogynist pig of a man - with people like that in mainstream media I feel truly truly sad.
I’ve read hundreds of the pages of the WhatsApp messages. Some of it is terrible. Honestly. Those Thornbury people can get in the bin. And the flat out attempts at silencing ANYONE who disagrees with the pro-Israel stance are horrendous. The hypocrisy of them now claiming doxxing when they were actively working to cancel people who don’t agree with their views is disgusting. On the other hand, there are people in there who argued (mildly but did) against comments like ‘she is a self hating Jew’ - I saw some good comments from Rita Erich for example. And I heard someone say that a friend of theirs had been added and didn’t even know as they had notifications turned off. Or they got added and then left. Which is all possible. Ginger Gorman - said nothing bad that I saw but I guess stayed in a group listening and not speaking up (and her reaction I think has been a bit poor - zero accountability, lots of justification). But do they deserve death threats and their children threatened? Absolutely not. On the other hand - neither does Clementine Ford who is getting it daily it appears. Photos of her kid sent to her. Letters in her mailbox. I can’t quite believe that she keeps going to be honest.

sorry but you lost me at " I think her passion for the topic and her horror at the situation is genuine" but i know all too well how she has treated Arab and First Nations women. this is a tactic for clementine, to stay relevant and to rebrand herself as an intellectual who now cares about world issues.
Or she’s just desperate to be included in any group of marginalised voices and held up by them as an ally. She’s the ultimate pick me girl for the disenfranchised with an added twist of white saviour complex.

Yes, I have and I kind of agree. I think we’re in the midst of a scary time where people don’t understand there are no good guys here. I’ve seen people saying Hamas are heroes. Life isn’t a Disney movie, there is evil on both sides here

Posting a child's mutilated, dead body to her grid has firmly put me offside with Clem. I can fully appreciate the atrocities of war. I have heard plenty of stories from my Nanna and pop before they passed. Pop served in WW2 and nan and her family fled Germany during the lead up to WW2. I did not ever need to see what she posted. What is happening is absolutely awful, all war is. I just don't see how her posting that child like that is helping anyone except potentially causing trauma or triggering other people who were just trying to scroll their social media.

Completely agree. It’s not helpful at all and extremely triggering for some.
And the comments are downright nasty. She has pinned some of the people expressing their shock and just letting her rabid followers have at them. And some of the commenters are downright unhinged.
