She’s lost the plot. I know a few people who were ‘besties’ and loved her and have unsubscribed. She’s just increasingly unpleasant and deranged. Today it was claiming Patricia Karvelas was bought by Israel. Wild.

I used to be a fan. Unfollowed years ago. I’m a staunch feminist and believe there are far more powerful, insightful, intelligent and interesting feminists in the field whose content I’d rather absorb. My friends have finally unfollowed her now too. May this trend continue!

I think this is why I can’t even hate follow . The content seems to be so angry and hate filled. There is no nuance or clever commentary. It’s just reposts of things with the same angry captions again and again.

Posting a child's mutilated, dead body to her grid has firmly put me offside with Clem. I can fully appreciate the atrocities of war. I have heard plenty of stories from my Nanna and pop before they passed. Pop served in WW2 and nan and her family fled Germany during the lead up to WW2. I did not ever need to see what she posted. What is happening is absolutely awful, all war is. I just don't see how her posting that child like that is helping anyone except potentially causing trauma or triggering other people who were just trying to scroll their social media.View attachment 2751953

I wasn’t expecting the image, I feel absolutely disgusted and distraught at what’s happening in Gaza but I wish I hadn’t seen this. There was no trigger warning and in the comments it’s so horrible to see people being targeted by her and her minions for asking for there to be warnings in future.

I think she believes she’s helping but honestly, this is so misguided and so disrespectful for her to share the image of the child and make everything about her! :/

I'm exactly the same. I really appreciated her posts about equality in relationships and women providing free labour etc because it resonated with me. Over time I started scrolling past her hate-filled posts and not even watching her stories. Then this awful post randomly appeared on my screen while my daughter was sitting on the couch beside me. I have no words. How dare she. I have never unfollowed someone so quick.

I reported it as well. She’s also sharing stories about “wealthy Zionist Jews”. She’s not even pretending to avoid the anti-Semitic tropes now.

She has such a huge platform, she could do so much good but, as always, she mistakes centering the debate around herself with real activism. It’s all about Clem, all the time.

So my report of the picture came back saying it doesn't violate the standards. Which is ridiculous. Guess it doesn't matter if the victim in the photo is brown
