I think this has been lost in translation, above user maybe Kathy Hilton said they don’t see Clem as a real feminist because she ISNT a TERF.
so to clarify: Clem supports Trans people. Clem is not a TERF.
A few months ago Clem posted about someone's wedding and had a go at them because they chose to have the ceremony in the underground section of St Mary's Cathedral in Sydney and she was complaining about these people thinking they were so special and better than others. The bride is an owner of a beauty salon in Sydney, a hardworking businesswoman, big deal if she has some money and wants to do something unique, a hardworking woman worked hard for what she wanted, don't have a go at her.
We know Clem doesn't support marriage and weddings but leave innocent people you don't know alone.

Weird. was this in her stories or posts? She seems to target select people and rail road them but is allowed to carry on however she wants. I saw something about her mocking a public marriage proposal at a young womans graduation ceremony but didnt know about this one.

Asking your partner to marry you at THEIR graduation ceremony makes me feel a little gross…
I 100% agreed with her stance on this. Guy proposed to a woman at HER graduation. Not cool.
It was in her Stories, this one was different, I agree with Clem, a proposal at someone’s graduation is not cool.
Her arguments for why it was crap were pretty compelling: taking the moment that she had earned and making it about him, putting her in a position where it would have been hard to say no, inserting himself into other people’s special day. I don’t agree with a lot of what she says (I’m a dreaded terf

She already had a degree and then did post graduate course. She actually hit back at Clementine in the news and pretty much said something along the lines of that she was her own woman and didnt need Clementine speaking over or for her which I agreed with. The sad part is what was meant to be a special day for them is now tainted due to Clementine turning it into content. I think we don't give the guy enough credit in this case as he obviously knows his partner well and made a good judgement on whether she would appreciate it or not. see articles above.
One of the biggest issues is that he derailed an official ceremony to centre himself. If he felt it would be so meaningful to do it on her graduation day, maybe do it afterwards or beforehand. Not during the ceremony, where other people are being honoured as well.

The video I saw was during the ceremony, as she was on stage collecting her diploma or whatever, he got up onstage with her and stopped the proceedings to propose. If she’s happy, that’s great. And if he was confident that it would be something that she wanted, fine. But I think the original point Clem was making was that some men do this with intentions that aren’t always altruistic. And I have to agree, it just feels like they’re making a day that’s about HER and her achievements about THEM. Anyway, I certainly don’t agree with a lot of what Clem says and does (I unfollowed her earlier this year) but I remember the stories she did on this and felt she got it right

I saw someone propose on a plane once. One of the pilots helped by talking over the loud speaker to get everyones attention and then congratuling them it was very cute

i think it’s crazy how the news cycles work and every few days there is another thing to all be outraged by. Did people think that because he was unattractive and overweight (previously) that he was a nice person? These people are actors with no doubt huge egos.
It looked like a toxic controlling relationship that ended and he still leaned on her for emotional support. She got angry that he had met someone new and was pictured with her (journalists got the name wrong) Unsure why they kept on texting but apparently he was going to keep paying for her therapy. She releases all the SMS’s via Snapchat. In under a year he had a baby with the new gf.
We have people sleeping in parks and in their cars, cant get a rental or even afford rent, electricity or food but the majority get distracted by the news of the day.
Clem turns around and does articles, podcast, posts on this important topic of Johan Hill using therapy speak incorrectly
She only wants publicity to make money from her new book.It's possible that this Jonah fella is a manipulating dude but we cant possibly know that or the full story just from those leaked texts. I am personally so bored with the media storm over this. Going by those few texts I think this should have been kept private. There are many cases where celebrities should be called out and exposed for harm done but I dont think this is one of them.
