Don't know why he even needs to advertise Hawkstone. It seems to be bloody everywhere now, I don't know whether their salesman specifically targetted Cambridgeshire but it's on tap in a couple of my local pubs, and has been for a couple of weeks, so not just one precious trial keg. If the same pattern of wide availability is repeated across the country, it can't possibly be a little husband and wife brewery making it for him, there has to be one of the big boys quietly doing the brewing and distribution for him.

Doesn't matter if it is good or bad, the number of people saying "oh they've got the Clarkson lager, I must try it", even if they only try one pint, his profit must be astronomical from it.

(Yes I did fall for it and had a pint, nothing special, went straight back to Peach Jubel for the rest of the night 🤣 )
It's no secret they have had to get other brewing companies around the UK involved to help meet production demands of all the various products in the range.

And it is popping up in more and more supermarkets as well.

It's grown from small local company to big national brewer, but is very popular.

I bought 4x300mls in Morrisons the other day there, it was £7.50 and that was on deal!! I’m in Edinburgh and a nervous driver so the chance of me going down that way is very slim. I thought the beer was pretty mediocre but my husband liked it.

Can’t wait for the next season.

Any cider lovers, I do really enjoy the Hawkstone cider. Can't speak on the beer, but I bought my Dad some and he enjoyed it.

Husband had a hedgerow whilst we are in his pub recently, and that was quite pleasant.

Have a great time and let us know how it is - did you have to book a long time in advance to get the reservations?
I will :) Thank you!! The bookings open every 1st of the month for the following month. We booked really easily but I know others have struggled. Our table is booked for 6 but aiming to get there a couple of hours before but forecast isn't great. We did want to visit the shop in the tent and have a drink in the garden before but not if it's raining 😞

We went during the heat wave! Felt smug walking past the people queuing to get in as we’d booked. Despite it being over 30° they did well

Just realised we won't get there until just before 4 and shop shuts at 4.30 I think. Is the queue really big at the end of the day?

I just binged this and my those two women advising about the pub - what absolute miserable rude cows.

Happy to sign up to take some of his money but then fled the minute they had to work. The one with straight hair had so much Botox her forehead shone, and she was so rude about 'go back into the kitchen'.

They were miserable to watch - thank god they went.

Apart from them, this season made me laugh out loud more than any of the rest. I lived Harriet and hope she comes back. Agree Kaleb needs to get over himself. I wish Lisa would out Jeremy on a diet or he's not long for this world.

Great telly and he's a principled soul doing great things for farming.

He's on the skinny jabs after his latest health scare.
