I think she always makes weird comments about her daughters size/ age/ abilities. Perfect example was the mention yesterday of her liking to play with balls and now basketball even though “she’s 2!!!!!” I highly doubt she’s actually shooting hoops - rather just throwing the ball towards the net in mimicking behaviour that pretty much all children do, it’s almost like she’s showing off but about the most inane things? She comments a lot too that she didn’t walk till she was 16 months as though it’s a some kind of badge of honour. I just find her whole demeanour a bit strange.

Also the baby is probably petite in stature because her husband looks about 6 stone pissed wet through

Ugh can’t stand her. SO rude unfollowed her ages ago. Thinks she’s way above everyone else. Designs all the same which to me means they’re shit if she can’t think outside the box and do something different. Just can’t stand her. And who cares what size her kid is, mines 2 and wears 9-12 month stuff!

I like her designs. But so bloody rude. I pm her once about a sofa. She was just plain rude.

She’s doing a Q&A. Someone has innocently asked what’s her favourite wall colour and she’s so rude she’s replied it’s not a QA for free advice. FfS it’s only a wall colour and a question you could ask anyone’s personal opinion on not a request for a free house design. She’s so bloody rude.

So her mum remarried? Why would he be in Wales when it was a Totman only event. 40 of them in an old house belonging to the family?

She always speaks of her mother raising them as a lone parent, I doubt she’d never have mentioned her stepfather if he was ‘the most incredible man on the planet’. I’d say it was definitely her husband’s side of the family, the way she’s been going on anyone would think it’s her actual husband but he was in her photo dump so wasn’t him. Very strange attention seeking behaviour.

Fair play I thought....for someone in need... then took a look and the clip of it, all stained, not even bothered to clean it up a bit. It's to save her a trip to the dump (literally just down the road)

So Totman is doing up aurorahome/Debbie’s house, yet is using a ‘before’ pic, which looks like before even Debbie had it! Where’s the outdoor living room at the back which has been there for years? She trying to take credit for that aswell?

I think the more you’re unable to grasp the concept of Instagram collaborations and ads, the more you get worked up. They are being paid in exchange for content. It’s advertising. As in “ad”. These social media ads come with contract, terms and conditions, a full brief. It’s unlikely they get paid money, apart from celebs. Instead the products for them to try, review and promote on their accounts is the payment. It seems like it’s ‘free’ but it’s not. It’s simply another form of advertising, it’s perfectly legal, and one of the differences is these big brands are not forking out millions of pounds on models. Just regular real people that their followers can relate to. Why not moan about the brands chasing Instagram accounts for collabs? Surely there’s a reason why they’re always willing to send their products to these accounts, right?

I think the majority of us understand the concept. What I find incredible and I think what the previous poster is getting at is that she’s obviously booked a holiday with Ikos, they wouldn’t have had a fucking clue who she was it’s not like they’ll have received the booking in Greece and been all “oooooh Clare Totman is gracing us with her presence let’s upgrade her to a garden room”, so she must have approached them and asked. On another influencers thread this weekend she has moved house and is asking if any furniture brands want to send her furniture to “collab”. My problem isn’t with them receiving these things, we’d all take a freebie or an upgrade if offered it’s the fact that they ask for them and then try and flog them to us ‘normal folk’ as though they’ve just discovered the best thing since sliced bread and I find it really disingenuous.
A hell of a lot of people will feel like shit because they cant keep up without realising that Clare wouldn’t have been able to afford that room without a free upgrade just like the BMW she always manages to include in her stories is her Mums. It’s all smoke and mirrors - that’s my other issue with influencers.

Agree her responses to questions and comments is really abrupt. She’s clearly from a very wealthy family and thinks she’s a cut above. He interiors are nice but there’s nothing particularly unique about them....

She's clearly a good kitchen designer, but she paints everything in colour matched Cornforth White.

They had a kids club from 3months and upwards
I went with my 2year old and personally think she is too young to be left with a bunch of strangers so I can ‘enjoy’ my holiday

I’d rather leave her at home if I didn’t want to spend the time with her but everyone has different opinions on this…

but she just doesn’t look very happy at all, doesn’t even smile at anyone, lots of people in this resort just say hi to each other as people do on holidays

In her defence she must get so fed up of being treated like a ‘free service or catalogue’ so I’d b pissed if ppl never said pls & thnx. I don’t think that’s being passive aggressive. I’ve seen so many accounts address ppl not sayin pls or thank u. When ur account is that big it’s impossible to reply to every msg individually so mayb that’s why she comes across as abrupt or rude, coz answers have to be short & quick. There is no way Sophie Paterson replies to messages from Instagram folk, she has nearly half a mil followers lolz
