Delighted I found this thread. The stories she spouts are all rubbish. Her jewelry is NOT handmade its well known in the industry. She uses the cheapest materials her stuff is rubbish. No decent jeweler would have a decent word to say about her. All the whimsical crap is just one big sales pitch.
I had a few pieces a few years ago. They ALL faded to a horrible colour or broke and they were not cheap. She should be ashamed of herself.

Coffee is better than Tea

One of her recent insta posts has her going on about how she is aware of the fragility of the rental market given the years she has been renting.....while standing in her no doubt huge new home. No Chupi you have no idea of the precarious nature of renting in Ireland. :rolleyes:

is there something I’m missing in this story. They were renting for years in Portobello, bought a beautiful Edwardian gaff in Harold’s Cross, sold it to move to the country to be closer to nature following the pandemic, then bought another old house in Dublin with her mother. What happened to the country move?

When she used to live in Portobello a few years ago i used to see her all the time! I bet its one of those Georgian houses up by there if shes moving her mam in....

And get a furniture pad for under the bed leg. That scrap of cardboard makes me wonder about this woman, I feel there must be someone doing the heavy lifting in the background and she just adds the fluffy pink “girlboss” aesthetic and of course the generational wealth.

oh god exactly this. As if sitting in your country pile waiting to move into another mansion that you are actually buying by rather than renting is in any way reflective of the genuine challenges many hard working people are going through at the moment in terms of the housing crisis.So beyond privileged and detached from reality.

Sorry if this goes off topic but does anyone know how this one is pricing her jewellery!? Had my heart set on an engagement ring from there but at 10k it was way over budget. Got a nicer version in a local jewellers, handmade with a bigger carat and much better spec for 5k. Got loads of perks along with it such as lifetime discount in the store and massive reductions on wedding jewellery. I really hope people aren’t sucked in with the fancy Instagram photos like I originally was

I know her jewellery used to be cheaper - i think she increased the prices when she got rid of all her plated jewellery and now only does gold/silver (?). You are definitely paying for her shop in Powerscourt and her branding though!

I don't really understand. It seems like she sold her house and then a year and a half later bought an almost identical house and is decorating basically the exact same as the last house???

careful now, Chupi might have to post another “story” about how a bad man questioned her pricing just because she was a woman 🙄

Where’s her family wealth from? I know the extended sweet man clan and yes there was a house on park avenue but there were a lot of kids. How is her mother so rich?

He mother was a journalist and author but I gather she had money behind her to begin with.
