Shetland, yes. Merino or BFL, no. IMO anyway.Because I think real wool is scratchy![]()
Do you mean for your daughter or other people? I usually do a photo book for grandparents as I don’t like to send them over digitally as they get put on social media but I cba this year. We got some nice photos from her preschool Xmas photo shoot im just sending them over (with caveat not to post online) and they can get them printed and framed themselvesI'm quite happy for my partner to buy me nothing, as long as in return he expects nothing! I cba with thinking of present ideas for him, he just buys himself what he wants during the year, as do I. I'd rather save our pennies and maybe have a night away or something, or a spa break for the two of us instead.
I am going to be a shit gift giver this year. My 3 year old had scarlet fever at the end of November, and has just been discharged from hospital for infected chicken pox, so very little has been bought or wrapped. Amazon Prime is going to have to save my bacon.
They really are!! I actually did do that a few years ago but it caused so many arguements because I’d constantly be saying it’s 3 days away? 2 days? Not bothered? Haha. and made me stressed as hell. At 27 and 31 I decided they can deal with it themselves they don’t forget their girlfriends of a few monthsYour brothers are arseholes! Perhaps next year you can suggest they give you the money they want to spend and you’ll buy for them instead. Or just spend their present money on her to make up for their lack of thought and regift the shit they give you to their girlfriends?
I can imagine how you must have felt!imagine my surprise when opening a pack of Tampons in front of my parents, lol
But I guess its the thought that counts
I think they only go off if they've been open.I got a Dove set in my golf club secret Santa. Thinking of regifting it this year. Do they go off?
I feel your painI was hoping for a Sony PS5 or a Apple iPhone 12.![]()
Except this year was special. For teens who are not mine, I'd probably get them gift cards from a shop they might like. You are me!! I refuse to give the kids money, every time I ask my sister what they want for Christmas it’s “oh, he just wants money.” Sorry, no. If the kids want money they can get jobs since they’re over 16.
Did you post this on Babycenter? I think I’ve seen a photoI got a fake silk shoe bag off a family friend this year. MIL got the same as me so I don’t feel too bad about it. She has tiny feet and she couldn’t get her shoes into it so my size 8 flippers stand no chance
She never usually bothers so I don’t know why she did this year. She bought my two year old a pack of rubbers abs he had an almighty tantrum when we took them off him because of tiny parts!
If it was just the last lot of presents, I probably would- but this is the third lot of stuff I haven’t had a thank you for. And I couldn’t really say “did they like the £200 cash we gave them for their wedding?”Why don’t you also ask her if she andher son liked the presents as you have not heard anything?
cbeebies radio is great, but Sundays it talks about God and faith. Quite surprised that if I’m honest!Ah bless him, I hope he makes friends with her again soonMy son is the same age and told his teacher 'Alexa is a robot who is in our family' I'd never heard of cbeebies radio so will be trying that today, thankyou!
I've never had one, but have seen them. What's wrong with them? I'm guessing they're not the best quality?I caught my mum hovering over a shelf of Baylis and harding sets at boots the other day and I said 'don't go buying Baylis & Harding no one wants to receive those!'. I think she got the message![]()
The Man Cave Sea Salt shower gel smells just like the MB Coastal Cypress and Sea FennelYou can buy empty MB bottles quite cheaply from eBay. Then decant a cheaper product into them. She’ll be done the wiser and you’ll have saved some £. It always seems the most demanding people are the ones who give thepresents themselves.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I love thisThis wasn't a bad Christmas present but it really made me laugh. My partner has a habit of misremembering things or inventing things entirely. On Christmas day I opened a gift from him and it was a pair of stripey bee socks which were quite nice and I wouldnt have questioned why he'd bought them for me. He then went on to say he got them as he remembered me saying I had some I loved as a child. For a moment I was confused and then realised what he was actually remembering was the bee tights scene in the movie Me Before Youhe felt a right dickhead.
He is the first person I’ve heard who does hahaMy 16 year old would think his Christmas was ruined if he didn't get his Guinness and Ripleys books. He reads the print off them![]()
