The house is cleaned, all the decorations are down and some of them are put up. Boxes and bags everywhere. It was a long day and I’m exhausted. I really deserved my takeaway pizza and the Kinder Bueno eggs I stole from my sister’s Christmas present (for the second time )

God I still haven’t bought anything. However I have found my perfect Christmas jumper.

Finally wrapping presents. As I go I’m writing them down into an iPhone note so I don’t feel a wave of needless mum guilt/panic and buy more when it’s really not needed!

Any recommendations for button through pyjamas? My daughter (in her 20’s) only likes button through style and no cuffed bottoms and they have to feel soft! I’m struggling to find any nice ones.

My daughter is 22 and has uniqlo button through ones on her list, not sure what they are like length wise but do XS etc

I went to aldi today and literally every shopper had a small sparkly gonk in their trolley, I thought oo they must be mad cheap, they were 12.99 .

I liked the look of the panettone, fruit or chocolate though?? I've never tried either.

My friend just bought me some pistachio brandy snap type things back from Italy as it's a fave flavour of mine. Will Google immediately!.

Lidl have been advertising it and if you're any where near an Italian deli or shop, they'll have them too. Delicious.

Living room is all done and cosy! Practically killed myself in the process but kids are asleep in bed and I've made a hot chocolate to watch the festive bake off from last year then bed. This year the decorating has to be done in stages but it is what it is. I'll get it done xx
