Happened to be by an Aldi today so thought I’d buy a pack of the chocolate gonks that have been recommended on here.
Got a pack with the vanilla creme (or whatever it is) and then bought a loose one to taste it pre-Xmas. Really enjoyed it

I discovered Thai crab mayo crustades a few years ago and absolutely love them. We tend to have these on Xmas day when we've opened pressies and having a glass of fizz. They are very tasty and quite light . So maybe they might work with something else .

These days I can only find the croustade shells in Waitrose ( I used to buy them in Sainsburys. Maybe the one near me is too small and possibly larger stores still sell them)

But I love them 😋
These sound so good!!

I've just looked this up..... yum! Deffo gonna try! Do you use mince in yours?
Yes, brown my mince, then drain the large off, add an onion and garlic. Put a pan of pasta onto boil Add a can of each soup to the mince. (Batchelors or Campbells Tomato and Mushroom), I find them in B&M.
Add your drained pasta and cook on a really really low heat for about half an hour. You need to keep an eye on it as it sticks easily. I sometimes add cheese in and a bit of chilli powder, but sometimes don’t. I serve mine with fresh crusty bread and butter. I make this for buffets aswell over Christmas and everyone loves it. A recipe my grans neighbour gave me years ago. Honestly so simple, but delicious.

Been popping in the Asda everyday hoping to see the mince pie cookies again this year. I LOVED them!
Picked up some orange choc brownies from the Christmas section today, I'm sure they'll be delightful

Whoever recommended Sainsbury’s Cheese and Wine Pyjamas… You owe me a small fortune 🤣
Once I’d put mine in the basket, I realised they were MATCHING family pyjamas and the kids version are cheese and crackers! 🥹❤

Put my name down for a local Christmas market for my little crafts that I make! Only started making things last year and just sell through Instagram as a bit extra money. It’s not confirmed yet but he said once a date/time is confirmed I should get a table as I’m high up enough on the list. Any excuse to buy some cute Christmassy stuff to decorate the table and already started making some Christmassy decorations tonight! Think I’ll get a cute little Christmas bowl and get some chocolate coins to go on the table, maybe a Christmassy table cloth and some other bits!

Posting this for anyone with children to buy for. I was impressed with the selection of stuff that a struggling mum managed to buy:

We have a few different companies that do these sales round our way (why is everything baby related a franchise?!) and they are so good, bit hit or miss but generally always come away with some decent stuff!

Amazon are doing a prime deal day. Yes I know not everything is a great deal. My husband and I have gone halves on a ninja air fryer as our Christmas gift to each other 😂

Was also able to pick up some more magnetic tiles that my kid loves to play with, that’ll be one of her Christmas gifts and some gifts for some upcoming birthday parties she’s going to. It’s been an expensive lunch break 😅
