Any idea If it may finally snow this year?

I'd love to see it snow Christmas eve night it would be so cosy.

We do a Chinese at my brothers on Christmas eve then home to put in our matching PJs a d watch a

We always have picky bits buffet (always make enough for a family of 5 when we’re just two adults!).. normally with an alcoholic drink whilst watching a Christmas film

This is exactly what we do
Christmas is always at my mum's house, who will do a couple of bits and then everyone who is spending Christmas there will also bring a couple bits, except every year without fail, we will all make extra, on the off chance someone forgets to bring anything, (which never happens) so we end up with far too much food, which gets put back out boxing day (along with Christmas day leftovers) for another picky bits buffet, so it's probably just as well we make too much

I admire all of you who do picky bits Christmas Eve. We did that one year, and between navigating things out of the packed fridge, the prep, the mess and - the worst bit - navigating the leftover picky bits BACK INTO the fridge, plus on top of that, cleaning the mess that needed 100% attention so that Christmas Day didn’t start in a coleslaw/sausage roll/pickled onion washing up mountain was enough to give me a seasonal hernia! For this very reason, we now just do a beige tray bake (aka, chips and fish fingers).

Christmas Eve really is the best

This usually ends up being mine and my brother's job and we mostly just spend an hour in the kitchen drinking wine and rearranging our mum's fridge while trying to jenga everything in there and praying it doesn't all fall out if someone moves something

Mum then spends Christmas afternoon complaining that she can't find anything in the fridge because we've moved it all around
