Same, I rent too, but there's no chance I'd decorate to the point what they're doing. I just think it's so stupid, the landlords not stupid, the house needs work, money what they didn't want to spend.
The landlord could decide to sell next year if they see how good the work is I'd feel so uneasy.

I dont feel like she is enjoying doing up this new house. I know its been said here before but the concept of doing up someone elses house to the extent they are is just so off to me. I feel like the landlord is taking advantage of them! It looks like quite a dated property so they are doing the landlord a huge favour !

This is why I feel a bit sad for her. It's a clear example of the pressure and falseness of insta.
She obviously didn't feel her rental was 'instaworthy' in comparison to all the self builds or period renovations (where they all have the same grey kitchens, herringbone floors and let's not forget the old faithful.. panelling).
While I do think she is creaming the freebies and will eventually morph into insta-twit Anna - I just feel she's almost been pressured into this for more engagement, followers, gifts and ads - and that pressure has come from herself trying to keep up with all the other insta-twats.
