Chloe's supposedly beginner friendly gardening guide is absolutely not beginner friendly. She has written the exact opposite of what she proposed to write; an un-complicated, jargon free, beginners guide that doesn't frighten people off (in my opinion, anyway).
I got into gardening just before covid hit by buying a pack of seeds and a small bag of compost, sticking them in yogurt pots with holes in the bottom and plonking them in my windowsill. They grew. I was amazed. I got some different seeds and repeated.
I moved them to my garden when it warmed up. I had ZERO idea about soil type, soil PH, hardiness, annual/perennial/biennial, no dig methods, or mulch. And I didn't need to know to begin. A lot of it I still don't know now, and I've grown loads of different plants from seed, bulb, tuber, cutting and have a thriving garden. And I still can't bring myself to read all of Chloe's guide.
I definitely didn't need to buy a whole new container and a basket for transporting flowers and veg, still haven't got and don't need a dibber, and I'd argue many of the essential items she's listed people can manage without, definitely when just beginning.
I know it's harmless and there's bigger things in the world to get annoyed about but I really believe this is why so many people avoid gardening. Because even the self claimed easy-read, beginner friendly guides are far far from it. I actually bought a kid's book and still look at it now occasionally for that very reason

I’d definitely be embarrassed if I were her. She made a big song and dance about being independent etc and the whole time was just stringing him along by the looks of it

Of course it hasn’t, the grass isn’t greener.
It smacks to me of someone who was approaching 30 and felt as though they were missing out on life or whatever, but has since realised the change needed to be internal.
Keiran must really love her. I hope they figure it out.

I think the fact she’s still hiding him hints that she’s still not certain they will stay together. And yes agreed, usually when you split up at some point, if you get back together, it doesn’t ever last.

I’m gonna repeat my statement that I think chloe is the most boring person to stalk this earth, her outfits are dreadful, and I wish she would get a real job
It would definitely be an interesting think piece to read from her though if they are back together. I’d like to know how she felt about the grass not being greener etc etc.
I do feel bad for Kieran though because it’s got to be a bit embarrassing for him too; and I get that she only revealed the break up because of the fact that she got drunk but I do think if she had said nothing at all she may never have done

Yeah we’re all girls here, we know what it’s like to go to your mates and tell them how shit our boyfriends are etc and then get back with them the next day. Same principle here, no one’s going to judge!
I really just think she doesn’t want to be with him but daren’t take the leap to fully break up with him.

I like her a lot. She comes across as being genuine.
