Just watched bits of the new video- they said they would be moving because the owners of the house may want to move back into the house. Sounds so stressful especially as they haven’t even been there that long.

IIRC weren't Evan and Otto reading whole chapter books by the triplet's age and she used to brag about it as a sign of how 'advanced' they were for their age? There's definitely no way she's able to teach all the kids at the level they should be taught. You're right, they get zero enrichment either. The older kids will eventually get tired of the park all the time.
Yes! She definitely heralded Felix as being a Maths genius and the older 2 as being fantastic at reading. I really felt like school was going to do great things for the triplets
but it's like some badge of honour for her, having them all at home.The triplets will have significant development delays due to being so premature, not because they aren't being taught as well, and school isn't the best place for children with developmental delays. I think Chloe was quite respectful when she said that school wasn't a good fit for their individual abilities. But when I read between the lines I think that is because the older boys are significantly advanced, and the triplets delayed. Home schooling is ideal for autonomous learning at a child's level. I'm a teacher and know that the one curriculum for all doesn't suit every child. Chloe is doing a brilliant job. She doesn't need teacher training to home school. A lot of teacher training is only relevant to teaching a class of the same age with strict curriculum targets, and there is a wealth of online learning programmes available in place of tutoring that she already uses.
I can’t get worked up if the triplets seem to be behind either. It’s all works out in the end.

Yes they were premature but my son was also premature / has autism and was reading at 4 years old. There would definitely be concerns here if a child wasn't reading by 7. I'd love to know how she is assessing development and preparing learning for all of her school age children whilst caring for the younger ones. There is a limit to what 1/2 people can do! My friend home schools and I have zero problem with it. She takes them out to learn and follows their interests etc.
Especially when the newest baby needs to be held for the entire sleep, according to Chloe. When she isn't holding her she has Cosmo on her lap.i honestly don't see how she can be teaching anyone anything.
I would question how advanced the older boys are now. I know they read very well at a young age but we don't really hear about any other skills. I like Otto very much & i believe he is overlooked due to Evan's permanent need to be centre stage. Otto & Sylvie are the two truly advanced of the lot.

I don't think Chloe likes the house they are in now or the area. It would be pretty cold where they are and not much to do.
It's hard to know with their homeschooling where they are really at. All kids are different, but you need a good teacher.

I mean everytime you add an extra child to the mix, it’s going to be more difficult to teach them so I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re now behind

I still can't believe that someone from the Education Department only visit once a year to check on home school children. What happens if the kids are behind or are struggling with a subject or project? It is going to get harder and harder to educate all those kids.

ahh yes, recent vlogs have featured Sylvie running through her extensive vocab. No diss meant, I have been commenting about her on almost every video since they were born. She is incredibly smart, focused & soaks up every word they say to her. Of course its lucky she is mature beyond her years, her twin brother is a whining cat who wants everything she has first. Always has been. He is also Chloe's pet (younger group, Evan of course is the king) and she wont' tell him no. and bashes his way onto it or screeches until Sylvie gives it to him. She seems to be taught that's the right thing to do She sits and reads (honestly, she knows letters & numbers & colours & recognises most things) & he's one who snatches the book she has, throws himself down & starts whining & wriggling & using it as a drum or whatever.I have made comments on You Tube, little comments. I hope Chloe does read - hence my extended version

First thing she said was it wasn't the house they would have chosen if they had had more time ... witch you & hub & your 9 kids are able to buy a house in the midst of a very bad time for buying houses. Neither of you are 30 yet, you have a seemingly tiny internet business and you got a housing loan. Any chance you could try being happy & positive for 5 minutes??
I wonder where they bought a house. Interesting that they were able to get a loan. She also said that they sold their house in Tasmania for $250k to start their business.

I’ve followed Chloe since the triplets were born as my son was prem at the same time so it’s been nearly 7 years and I’m just so conflicted seeing how they keep popping out kids when there’s no way each of those children gets the attention they need and deserve. Homeschooling can’t be done the right way with so many little ones in and around, and after seeing her stories this morning about what she focuses on more than actual educational aspects I’ve respect for that but the kids do need to be learning certain educational needs to jobs in later life? She’s doing them a disservice by having taken them out of school when it was obviously working for some of them. They don’t all need to do the same thing why can’t the ones who thrived stay there? It does feel like she wants a badge of honour to be this earthly mother who can do it all and homeschool etc. those kids clearly are earning a crust if they’ve managed to buy a house.

I agree. I think the kids would be better in school. Especially as the kids get older the school system can be complex. You can't just set them in front of the ipad.
They probably get a good tax refund by working from home, which will help with their expenses. Still houses are expensive in Perth, you have to go a long way out to find affordable housing or be in a dodgy area.

Still settling into their new house by the looks of things. Their online store is still off-line.
