As am I. I think I’ve given up now, there would be no point even sleeping for an hour. Plus it would take me at least an hour to get to sleep in the first place. Can hear the birds chirping, that’s when you know you’re past the point of no return.

Dreading today.

Shattered lol. I’ve been to pick up my prescription and I’m now sat in the garden ready to do some uni work.
When I couldn’t sleep last night I googled it, apparently when there’s a full moon it can affect your sleep and there’s one today! Wonder if that’s the cause of the lack of sleep 🤔
Anyway, I hope you’re all ok x

I’ve already eaten the rest myself! To be fair it was the only birthday gift I received and I had to buy them with my grocery shop!
Although the family do know that it’s the only thing Mumma NEVER shares!

Did you share my disappointment when the “big” Ferrero was actually just a plastic case that has usual sized ones inside?
I was all set to shove my head in! 😄
I think i just wee'd a lilttle bit.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yep, but i'm in Europe. We've been in lock down since I think the 13th of march- but after talking it through with my therapist I stayed mainly because I didn't want to deal with home drama on top of exam stuff at the same time.

I'm a natural hermit and found whilst being in lock down did require some adaption isn't that much different from a depressive phase. I do take it to extremes though and the longest I've stayed in my teeny studio flat was 15 days and I'm currently on day 5 again.
I’m an introvert and I do think it makes lockdown much easier.
You look after yourself xx

My male bestie who lives in the same building knocked on my door and asked me to help him today.

He told me that he kept running into a girl, met her at the library and then food store. That he knew her from before and recently she kept messaging him asking for small favours like wanting to come over use his laptop as her's wasn't working. 🥴

He told her to come in 15 mins. She wasn't happy to see me there too. I made up crap that he still owed me money from when we stayed at the hotel together.

She left quickly.
wait - is she laying it on incredibly thick with him?! also are you in uni halls, can't she use the library computers? I haven't been out in the real world in 3+ months I don't know what's open or not! x

I've tried putting on some Disney plus so I can have a crafty snooze, but she's on to me and comes to wake me up. Other people have it much worse, but it's just getting to me today.
If you went to bed, instead of napping on the sofa, would she join you?
I remember when I was heavily pregnant with my second, l’d take a nap in bed and my son would join me. He thought it was fun being able to cuddle up to mummy in her big bed.

How’s the weather where everyone is today? It’s quite sunny down south, warm even! wish I had my toes on a beach, in the sea though!

Got to admit, not often I have a dilemma about posting Shit on Tattle! Jesus wept 🤦‍♀️
I know, right!
The only advice I can give you here is just pause for a moment and consider "Hmmm, what would Fodcliffe do?" and then do the opposite 💛

My first was lonely but I used to get out to groups everyday. Even with those it was 6 months before I’d bonded with people to meet up with them. So being in this situation I can only imagine how you feel. Sending you hugs. I know it was a tough time for me as my husband works away from home so I was alone a lot but I did at least get to see family! I’ve just had my third baby now and I’m not lonely because the other two never shut up 😂 but I am trying to enjoy this baby in a way I couldn’t with my first. There are also some baby groups running online so that might be worth looking into. And just be kind to yourself. People say oh you don’t get this time back, I found it brutal if I’m honest I was so worried all the time about everything. Do you have support from health visitors? My hv has said I can have weekly phone calls if I need it.
yeah we had just started getting out to groups and things and then lockdown so it’s hard. I felt like I’d just started to get a bit of routine and structure and then it was gone.

My partner usually works away, he isn’t at the moment but he’s still working so it’s me the baby and the dog all day.

yeah the baby sensory class we were due to start is online so we’ve been doing that the last couple of weeks which helps. There’s a few others I might have a look at it depending on how the next wee while progresses.

Just off the phone to my HV, I always found her a bit airy fairy though she’s just like ‘yeah so give me a phone if you need anything’

trying to FaceTime family and things but it’s just not the same. We’ll get there though!

Well I'm here if you need a natter! It's hard work, especially if your on your own or partner is working silly hours at the mo. Feel really sad I'm coming up to the end of my maternity leave and sort of worried when I do go back to work and he has to be left with someone he's going to be very clingy as he's not been left with anyone yet 😬 I work in an office so hoping the government will say work from home for as long as possible
Thank you, I appreciate it.

Oh no! Such a scary time to be having to think about going back to work, fingers crossed you get to work from home for a while !

Is it the pink moon tonight?

Are you usually away at uni or do you study from home?

Was actually trying to start a thread myself but now sure how to do so?? Anyway.... anyone else’s husband doing their absolute heads in yet??
OMG yes! Who knew he had so many annoying fucking habits!

I've spent the best part of today gutting the youngest's bedroom. I certainly clean better and am far more ruthless at chucking out plastic crap when I'm stressy 😊 rest of upstairs tomorrow. The joy x
Been cleaning and sorting a room a day. Hoover on relentlessly. My neighbour must think shes living next door to Hinch!
