I'm kinda confused. I reported a photo and got the first message on the left. I clicked on the bit that said "think we've made a mistake". Got the second update today. It say's MY photo was removed but the image I reported was still online unless I'm confusing who I've reported- or read it wrong. None of my pictures are missing.

Oh I've never thought to grow ginger - is there a specific time of year to start growing it? I have a mint plant, albeit potted separately from my other herbs as I read it can run rampant sometimes - not sure how true that is but it's definitely hardy as it keeps coming back really well.


It was a bit funny first thing this morning but think that was more likely my wifi as the threenager had been switching the network extender on and off!

I think as long as it's sunny! She planted hers in march. We had lots of mint everywhere and it did at times look like a weed! If you're into basil there's also lots of propagation videos too.

Is anyone else here having trouble with this website loading? I'm just wondering if it's only me. thank you

How are you all today? I had a great sleep last night for the first time in weeks, I'm putting it down to the vodka and cranberry that I had before bed. Might have to have another one tonight

Woah that's practically plant porn- you need to put a warning on it! I'm glad things are growing well. You have a lovely garden BTW! There's also a few urban gardens I love that manage to get huge harvests without extensive up keep- maybe 4 hours a week .

I also love plant shelves ad you can grown more stuff in the same amount of space.

I live in student accommodation, so it's all sorted by them and it was the whole building.

Firstly I went to nap for 2 hours. Then freaked out because I'm supposed to do a exam online on thursday.

I don't have a SIM card on my iphone either and can only connect to free wifi. I dug out my ancient Nokia 100 phone and called a friend to ask if it wasn't fixed could I do my exam at hers. Then I phoned my mother and asked my sister to log into my duolingo account so I don't lose my streak!

I had an old movie on my itunes account (safe house) so watched that for a bit before bed, but it made me realize how lonely I actually felt without having a sense of being connected.

Aw so are you still at uni then?
We managed to get our son home in time. He’s had his exams cancelled but still has a couple of assignments to do.
It must be hard for you.

It was mine last week too. I blew my candles out. Considering my children are revolting and have been known to lick my face ( I know, they're gross) I figured that if we can all survive living in the same house for weeks on end we can survive me breathing on a cake


Happy Birthday for tomorrow

I’m the only one leaving the house and only to shop once a week or drop off shopping. My husband is vulnerable so he and my adult children have not left the property in over 2 weeks. If anyone will catch/carry it, it will be me so I thought it best to be safe.

I’ve just had a 30 minute virtual online make up appointment which was a tad surreal but it was also good to do something a little frivolous in my day.

I’m finding I’m less tolerant too.
Was listening to popmaster on the radio this morning and one contestant said it was his first day staying at home and he was pacing the living room like a caged animal. I shouted “get a f#cking grip, man!” at the radio!

I hear that but he did really well on the quiz. I felt so sorry for the second contestant though.
