It’s my birthday tomorrow and as part of my present, my sister has paid for me to go and have an eyebrow wax/tint tonight but I’ve never been to this lady before and I’m a little bit scared - it’s taken me years to grow back my eyebrows after the over-plucking between 2007 - 2012

Happy Friday gang. I am drowning in life but what’s new. Little peaches was up in the night and he was BURNING hot and I realised I don’t have a thermometer anywhere so just had to roll with it with calpol and hope for the best. He said his chicken pox are not itchy but some are painful. Is that even normal?
work is busy and I keep getting social stuff added to my diary and I just don’t wanna go. Something traumatic happened the last time I went out with work and I’m not sure im over it.
Ohhhh good luck with your eyebrows @BelleAmie i had mine micro bladed about a year ago but I think they need re doing. I keep meaning to arrange but I’m anxious when I message the lady she’ll be like erm sorry I don’t remember you

I feel like I'm drowning at work atm but also there so much cattiness I just cannot stay here, so I've applied for a couple of new jobs! A girl who works from home has been witching about me saying that I don't do any work or answer the phones, that I don't the meaning of 'ASAP' and that because I'm full time I should be doing more.
A) you're not in the office so how the f**k does that give you the audacity to say any of things
B) when I'm on my own 3 times a week how can I answer the phone when I am already on the phone?
C) if you communicated with me and made me feel part of the team I could actually do my job properly
I thought the bitchiness stops after school but evidently not, I am literally FUMING.

Omg @make-mine-whiskey she sounds like a right cow! That's not fair on you at all, especially if you're already under pressure 3 days a week! I know what it's like being on your own a lot at work and I don't think others in the team ever quite recognise the pressure it puts you under! Hope the new job applications go well!

There's been a bit of a delay due to covid in the team where I was interviewing so they're WFH atm!
I can't have been on there. Even if my feet had been tucked out of sight, I can assure you that no amount of make-up and drag could make me look convincingly like a witch, silly or otherwise.Morning! Omg I am mortified, so communication is going out on Monday at work to clients about the change of my new role, what I do now, who replaces me, etc. it’s a proper fancy email put together by marketing and they need pics. I couldn’t be bothered so said just take the one off the system for me but they couldn’t get it so my colleague (male, 50’s) WhatsApp’s me and says can we use this pic of you? Said picture is me sitting in a lace dress, is about 8 years old, and from a night out. I said erm okay but where did you get it he said your Facebook? Marketing have edited it to look a bit more professional but I am DYING.
To make it worse I’m in my early 20’s in this pic but when it’s next to the girl who replaces me who is in her early 20’s now I look about 38 in it
