Does anyone remember the singing ringing tree, that was weird and scarey.
I believe that programme was named the scariest Children's show ever. The Fast Show did a great spoof version!

Old bear stories no one seems to remember it
I loved Tales of Old Bear. It used to give me a parculiar cosy feeling watching which I can only equate to feeling "christmassy".

How can I forget Secret Squirrel and Squiddly Diddly.

My Little Pony. They had a special where a bunch of witches had made some slime which was engulfing their town.

Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids - I found it quite scary/creepy for a kids show

Titch - It was claymation TV show about a little blonde kid. The theme song was quite catchy

Goosebumps - I always remember the episode where the 2 boys eat cookies with weird black/brown goop in them, and they turn into old men.

Best of Friends - The game show where a group of friends had to do tasks such as eating a jam doughnut without licking their lips, eating some dry crackers without a glass of water, getting tickled without laughing, etc. They got treats as well and I remember being jealous of some girls that got to go shopping in Claire's Accessories, lol.

It wasn't kids TV per se but I remember being obsessed with a channel on cable. It was a live affair, very cheap and British. It revolved around psychics. There was a show called Psychic Pets I would watch every evening on it.

I remembering bunking school and tuning into Sunset Beach for the first time... it was a daytime porno!

What sort of stuff do kids watch these days? I'm totally out of the loop there.
My eldest lot grew out of traditional kids shows as soon as they got into watching other people play video games. I think Dan TDM and the monotonal drivel of Stampylongnose were their first YouTubers my teens watched religiously, then came the Paul brothers, KSI, etc. My 11 year old is into all this obscure Anime.

For my youngest, I notice a few have been remade. Teletubbies has been given a face-lift. Albeit a cheap one. Peter Rabbit has been made into a 3d series - surprisingly my one year old son pays no heed to it and shows preference to the old animated ones on YouTube. I think we're stuck with Mr Tumble for generations to come.

I think I mentioned some of the more mature shows I watched a few pages back. I am unsure but just to list a few... You Bet. Anyone remember that? Gladiators, you've been framed with Jeremy Beadle, BlockBusters, Noel Edmonds House Party - Mr Blobby, Top Of The Pops, Blind Date, Goodness Gracious Me (I loved this show!), 999 and always watched a vetinary programme hosted by Rolf Harris.

Hiyaaaa.... I loved the Clangers (as you can see) 😆
I might look up an episode to watch, it really seems like whoever wrote it what on some kind of psycadelic drug... (which seems true of a lot of 80s/90s childrens TV tbh!)
