Not childrens tv but Saturday lunchtimes on itv with The Chart Show followed by The Sullivans and The Munsters.

Channel Four were showing the Munsters on weekday evenings in the early 80s.

They gave kids Crackerjack pencils as prizes for their contest. Children were more easily pleased then.

I told my dad 21yrs ago that I was calling his 1st grandson Eric Whimp that’s banana mans real name in the end I went with Ryan but still to this day my dad mentions how he was going to disown me & my son if i named him Eric

Late 80s kid here. Did anyone else at school watch Badger Girl and Through the Dragon’s Eye? This would’ve been early 90s.

loving all this reminiscing! did anyone else watch the clangers? such a bizarre show and from what I remember had no dialogue?
Also totally different genre but the sort of gameshow Knightmare? I found it terrifying to watch, being chased by someone as you are blindfolded is my idea of hell

I can’t remember what the program was called but my little brother used to watch some Granny with a Tartan beret on & she rode a bike I thought it was rit but had to take it in turns to watch our favourite programs
