This one?

Sounds like something I would enjoy, but missed it. 1999 was my era, too. It must've clashed with something on CITV.

Animal Hospital I think was the one with Rolf - I never liked him back than, always putting his arm around the women.

I loved You Bet with Matthew Kelly. Can still hum the theme tune. I was talking about it a few weeks ago with family and NO ONE remembered it! Thought I'd dreamed it all up!

Saturday night telly was great back then. The Generation Game and Bullseye were other faves.
Yup that’s the one! Honestly, I remember my mum briefly watching a bit and being all “I don’t think this is suitable for children!” before settling down to watch it with us every week! 😂 The dad was an accountant for a drug dealer called the gorgon who then went after them therefore they were put into witness protection. I think the family dog was killed as a warning or this could be my imagination?

Literally should have been on as an itv drama after the watershed not on bloody cbbc! 😂

I don't think anyone's said The Tomorrow People, Galaxy High, Rude dog and the Dweebes, Ovide.
Fraggle rock was always a fave.

I often forget what I've walked into the kitchen for but I could still sing every word to Maid Marion, Bucky O'Hare, Round the twist, Saved by the bell, Sweet Valley, California dreams, Care bears, Raggy Dolls, Gummy bears....

Some amazing ones already named! My favourites were
Rainbow, Rosie & Jim, Art Attack, The Raccoons, Gummi Bears, The Riddlers, Come Outside, Knightmare, Finders Keepers, California Dreams, Saved by the Bell, Hangin with Mr Cooper, Sweet Valley High, Dinosaurs
There was also a show that had a crocodile and a chicken, and a fox, and there was a chick in an egg who lived on the windowsill. I think it was called Chicken Minute?
I can still sing the California dreams theme tune 🙈😂

You and me, let’s pretend. They used to be on at lunch time about the time of rainbow etc.
I used to love Let's Pretend.

Chocablock was another of my favourites. I used to be obsessed with How we used to live which they showed in school back in the 80's

The first show I remember watching was play school with Jemima and Humpty, rainbow and an Irish TV show called Bosco. I absolutely loved Bosco. He was this crudely made puppet who lived in a box. I say he although I always thought he was a girl but Bosco is a boys name.

Can you imagine the outrage now if you gave a child a pencil as a prize???? 😱
Slightly off topic, but I remember when I was in school, year two so ~6yo, I was encouraged to enter a singing competition. I entered because I REALLY really wanted to win the school beanie. I came second and won a shitty Poundland pencil case with 'WALES' on it (I am welsh, I think it'd be an insult if I wasn't) omg to this DAY I remember giving my headmaster a filthy stinking dirty look when he handed it to me. I die thinking of it now because literally EVERYONE must've seen the absolute disgust in my face, I was FUMING.

(The girl who came first won the beanie)

Old bear stories no one seems to remember it
I loved Tales of Old Bear. It used to give me a parculiar cosy feeling watching which I can only equate to feeling "christmassy".

How can I forget Secret Squirrel and Squiddly Diddly.

Rude Dog and the Dweebs.

My siblings liked Thunderbirds which felt like it went on forever.

I hated Newsround and Blue Peter, mainly because they would signal my TV time was up.

Anyone else remember when Mario Bros and Donkey Kong had their own shows?
